Update: Heat/Celtics Leading Contenders for Turiaf

Imo, he would be ideal for us. Brings a lot of energy. Has a jumper(and some offense). Can block shots too. He would be an upgrade from Joel.

ideal? while his offense is better than anthony's, it's still considered non-existent. Plus Anthony is a much better defender than Turiaf is.

Turiaf actually when he was healthy, was pretty good.

I'd take him.

I haven't heard anything though and we DO have a roster spot available.

He's suppose to make a decision between Boston or Miami by tomorrow. Hopefully he doesnt go to bean town

I'd pick up Turiaf as long as he is healthy.

Forget the Fisher signing as we have too many guards

We needs SIZE

i'd prefer him over joel because he can actually do something with the ball when he comes up with the rebound/loose ball

with joel you have to immediately get the ball out of his hands, too much of a liability

ronny has underrated vision too, he'd be able to find others for good looks

Yes Ronny is a good passer, he was a very good college player. He is without a doubt better than Joel. I cannot even imagine Joel catch a pass on the break and finish with a dunk. He is supposedly one of the fastest running big man, but i've never seen him do such a thing on the break.

Fisher is a waste of time. He can't shoot anymore and he can't play defense. Yes, he's a great locker room guy, but I'd rather keep Davis on our bench and develop him.

Turiaf is a no brainer. He's our kind of player and fills in a position of dire need.

I want Turiaf. He is a legit upgrade from Joel (even though it's not that much).
I can see how impactful he can be with his energy, especially in home games.

Ryan Hollins just became available. He's an upgrade over Turiaf IMO.
