Since the end of the All Star break...

This team is now 4-7 (36%) on the road. For comparison purposes, we were 12-5 (70%) heading into the All Star break.

Perhaps those wins were against some quality opponents? Nah... They were against a struggling Blazers team, the 76'ers who are also struggling, Detroit (lol), and Toronto (also lol). Well what about the losses? Perhaps they were close?? NOPE... 5 of the 7 have been blow outs (losing by 10 points or more. The Chicago game was also a blow out until Wade went god mode in the 4th).

Last year this team used to steamroll their opponents on the road, and we were only improving from our 9-8 start as the season went along. This season has been the complete opposite. Ever since the All Star break we've been in a downward spiral.

But lets just keep pretending that everything is fine and we're gonna magically go 2K11 mode on everyone in the playoffs. :D

Saving legs for playoffs = LeBron playing 40 mins in blowouts :D! Surprised Spo didn't play him out the rest of the game today

I haven't hit the panic button yet, but I don't get why they suck on the road.

Atleast we're good at something... good at home. But that makes HCA more better now.

This team will eventually know it's sense of urgency, but if the fundamentals aren't there, this team's effort will go to waste.

Is this "change" in the form of a certain coach getting fired? I'm all for it then.

Great song btw.

Or pretend we didn't do it last season. Or pretend we can't do it again with a better team. PEACE.

Let's pretend we won the title last year so we can say THIS TEAM CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT IN THE REGULAR SEASON!! Play like ass and then bad habits come and bite them in the butt at the worst time.

Man I don't care it's motherfckin revamp time.

If players give up on defense or don't run out to contest.. bench his ass, I don't care if its lebron or bosh or whoever.

This is embarrassing. At one point (myself included) this team was compared to the 70 win bulls.
At this point thats just a joke.

Either spolestra needs to take a seat or positions need to change.
EVERY god damn time a game means something the heat choke, and GIVE UP.
it's tiring watching this team

For Christ's sake Pimpwerx do what??? What did this team do last year??? Memory check... WE LOST. Nobody here cares about simply reaching the Finals. This team was built to win championships, and we HAVEN'T DONE THAT. This current team isn't showing any current indication of doing that either.

Since this is about the road, after this we have only 5 road games left which sucks because we can't exercise our road woes and try to figure things out. Only against Chicago, Boston and NY are the notable teams we have on the road.

The rest are at home. 10 home games, 5 road games coming up.

That's 15 games to gain momentum to go to the playoffs. This team last year gained momentum to go to the playoffs last year, but time is running out right now.

You know, there is this man up in our front office who would totally do something like that. I mean, this is the same guy that fined HIS OWN player $75K for giving up uncontested lay ups and dunks, and is the same guy that did not let Shaq walk all over him when things got rough and traded his ass to Phoenix quicker than you can say quick.

Like for real, when the rumors of a Shaq trade were starting to hit the public domain, he was already on a plane to Phoenix.

Pat should bring back the no lay up rule thing. I'm tired of teams getting easy buckets against us.

Think about it. Besides scores off turnovers the heat are not feared for ANYTHING.

Their defense? It's good def, but NO teams fear it. You will not be hurt / banged up going inside on the heat.
Their half court offensive? Speaks for it's self... horrible.
Their rebounding? WHo? Bosh? lol.
Their 3 point shooting? Don't even joke.

It's so frustrating.

From Ira

"A team with LeBron, Wade and Bosh can't score. How can you say it's not systematic?"

Boston got older and slower, their big 3 are all over 34.

They lost Perkins, Shaq, JO, Wilcox, and have no inside presence.

They didn't play Allen, Pietrus nor Daniels who were all injured

Miami was rested, and exept for miller had their whole roster healthy

YET WE GET A 30 PTS HASS WHOOPING ?? HOW CAN NOT THIS BE A COACHING ISSUE ?

Sorry guys but i want this dumbass OUT !!!

Rag on LeBron and Wade all you want. This team is mostly flawed because they're attempting to use Bosh/Haslem/Anthony as their inside line. That won't win you championships

2011 Mavs: Tyson Chandler / Dirk Nowitzki
2010 Lakers: Andrew Bynum / Pau Gasol
2009 Lakers: Andrew Bynum / Pau Gasol
2008 Celtics: Kendrick Perkins / Kevin Garnett
2007 Spurs: Tim Duncan (good enough to hold down the fort himself)
2006 Heat: Shaquille O'Neal (same)
2005 Spurs: Tim Duncan (same)
2004 Pistons: Ben Wallace / Rasheed Wallace
2003 Spurs: Tim Duncan / old David Robinson
2002 Lakers: Shaquille O'Neal
and the list goes on and on...YOU NEED TWO BIG MEN (or at least one really good one) to win a championship

I said it last season before the finals

My prediction was: we will watch the team with the best center rotation vs the team with the worst center rotation.

I said the team with the best center rotation should win ea$ily

We have enough talent on this team to overcome our poor C rotation and win a ring. It's just that our talent isn't even close to being utilized to its full potential.

On paper this team should be one of the most dominating offensive forces the NBA has ever seen, but here we are late in the season struggling to score against the freaking CELTICS... The talent on this team is totally being WASTED man. :nonono:

Here is my response in the game thread, pretty much applies to this rut we have been in...

Skip actually isn't really trolling this time around...we do look sick/tired of the regular season, and are regressing at the worst moment. The role players need to step up and earn their pay checks.

Skip Bayless ‏ @RealSkipBayless
LeBron looked disengaged. 0 assists, 1 FT (shot 1 tech). Injuries nagging him? Chalmers/Cole slumping, LeBron must run the offense, attack.

2h Skip Bayless ‏ @RealSkipBayless
Heat looks like team sick of playing reg season games, want playoffs to start now. Unfortunately, mo. left. Better rebuild momentum.

2h Skip Bayless ‏ @RealSkipBayless
DWade took over 2nd q but Heat mostly watched 1st, 3rd, got embarrassed. Spo called 1st q easiest Boston has played all yr. Something wrong

Also Mike Wallace of the Heat Index kind of explained yesterday why today could have been a bad game for us (as it turned out to be): http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/miamih ... e-for-heat

This was the perfect game to have played Pittman, Turiaf, Jones and Harris towards the mid 3rd quarter and into the 4th but this coach decided to ride Bosh who was clearly blowing it as well as Joel when we needed scoring most tonight. Our PG duo also especially Chalmers did not have it on either end and Wade should have been inserted into that position with the above players.

Interesting post at the Sentinel by 'Not JB'.

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miam ... ?track=rss

"You can’t have a free flowing offense with Joel Anthony in the game, especially against a team with a solid head coach and a veteran big defending him. KG had free reign to patrol the paint and deter Wade and Lebron from doing what they do best. I'd expect the Bulls to do the same with Noah. At this point, it’s the one change Spoelstra is capable of making. Granted Turiaf and Pittman aren’t great, but they’re better than Joel Anthony. He is hurting the team.

Say what you want about Haslem, but he has been playing better than Bosh recently. You could put Haslem on the court with Ben Wallace, Dennis Rodman, Shaq, and Bill Russell and there’s no way he’s only grabbing two rebounds in 30 plus minutes.

I won’t argue with you at this point if you were to say this team has no heart."
