If the Heat do not pull it off this year, how do Heat fans feel about this trade? Im sure Pat Riley will look to shake things up. This looks like a win win for both squads.

Has nothing to do with individual talents. If they dont win Pat Riley has to shake things up. Dwight would make them a better team possibly. Lebron and Wade are both wing players and Orlando is not going to trade Dwight for Bosh or Wade.

You want to trade a 2-time MVP possibly 3 for a immature and inconsistent center? LBJ is not our problem. Unfortunately we have no shot makers that will spread the floor so the BIG 3 can do their work. Miller, Battier, Chalmers need to make those outside shots.

He may be immature but Dhoward is definitely without a question one of the most consistent players we've seen in a long time.

Indeed i agree with you Dwight is one of the most consistent players and we really need that. If we get a true coach not Spo and from day one have Dwight under Heat culture discipline all should be good. I would not want to give up LeBron for him though i would give up Bosh some draft picks or any other piece besides Wade/LeBron or get a third team involved in trade for better assets etc. Otis smith has questioned LeBrons competitiveness and heart so i doubt he would probably want him. If he would take him or asks for him then Otis will be eating his own crap he talked. I myself question LeBrons competitiveness i just believe he needs a proven hard notch coach to put him right someone he respects and i dont think Spo has that.

I think it would be a decent trade... Maybe Bosh & Wade for Dwight... Then you build around Dwight & Bron...
I'm a knicks fan so my advice to you is over... but...
Just remember...
Lebron is NOT your 2 time MVP... He was an MVP in Cleveland!

No thanks we do not need advice from rivals appreciate it though lol especially not advice to trade both Wade & Bosh for Dwight. If Orlando said LeBron for Dwight i would have to think about it though but i rather give up Bosh and any other asset, draft picks etc. or get third team involved like i had metioned for better assets in any case.

It's funny because in NYK it's "Trade Amare for David Lee, no trade Melo iggy & xyz, Trade Melo & Stat for the Barclays Center" meanwhile a team like Indiana is sleep walking to third place in the East.

This isnt about individual accolades. All the guys keep saying why would you trade a 2 time MVP for Howard. Like I said, my scenario is based around if the Heat do not win the finals. The Heat owe too much to Wade to trade him so he is out. Lebron and Wade are both wing players. The Heat's main weakness is interior offense and defense. While Lebron may be great trading him for Dwight does not create a black hole in this team that Wade cannot somewhat fill. Dwight would open up Bosh's midrange game, this in turn would make them better overall defensively and offensively.

Tell me you are joking right ? lol better overall offensively and defensively ? gimme a break Bosh is too soft in the interior on both ends he is the one that needs to go. Dwight will open up everyone's mid range game Haslems if he is the starting PF even Turiaf's if he plays the PF as back up. I would have LeBron playing some PF too would be best of both worlds. With Dwight's presence in the middle no stopping us we have the perimeter and the paint. Bosh is too worried about his fragil frame getting broken in the paint he has said it himself he does not like that real physical play he should play in the WNBA then

there he probably would get roughed up too lol

Bosh is the Heat's biggest Xfactor on offense. If Wade is having an off night on the wing Lebron usually picks up the pace and vice versa. If you dont get good play from Bosh they dont win. The fact that you talk down on Bosh really shows you know little about bball. He is a finesse player but he is great player also.

Finess player ? lol he should be in ballet and not the NBA then

Bosh is the cause of alot of the teams flaws especially rebounding and interior presence on both ends so makes LeBron & Wade work that much harder. With Dwight he will control the interior on both ends and Wade & Bron can concentrate on perimeter. Championship bball is not for finess players look at Dirk & Gasol they are soft too but when it really counts they have pulled their weight and played tough Bosh needs to step up or he must go. Tell my boss i know little about bball i been coaching 17 years see what he says i make a living off bball

The problem with your whole post is taht you seem to think that Orlando would be dumb enough to trade D12 for Bosh. You talk down on Bosh but at the same time want to act like a GM of the NBA is going to trade the best player at their postion for Bosh. Get real man. D12 controls the paint, and Bosh is currently the 2nd best rated defensive player against the P/R when you check Synergy. So he isnt as a bad defender. I dont care how long you have been coaching, PJ Carlesimo was a head coach for years and we see how his track record looks.

Dwight is the fourth best player in the league this season while Bosh is ranked at 32. How many times has Bosh been defensive player of the year ? Who scores more and has more rebounds, blocks and steals ? Does Bosh command double teams ? I guess your finess just like Bosh is lol

Check NBA.com for stats and you will see who is the best most efficient DOMINANT BIG IN THE GAME. If we make a trade package Bosh other assets and maybe with a third team involved we could probably land him.

No.
If anyone goes, it's Bosh for Dwight.
Bosh goes to ORLANDO, and the Heat become an unstoppable force with James, Wade, and Dwight Howard manning the paint.
The Bulls' 72 win season would be in jeopardy right off the bat with that team. Bosh is just not a dominant post player nor rebounder, nor defender. I still have nightmares of his joke of a defense on Dirk at the end of Game 2 in the Finals.

So you honestly think that Orlando would take Bosh over James, Bynum or a package elsewhere? Bosh isnt a post defender but he is really good against the pick and roll and a big part of why the Heat's gamble defense gets alot of transition points
