Philly is so bad and easy... I'd want them.
I don't mind the Knicks but they obviously wouldn't roll over like Philly. They'd make us work more.

true... it's kind of a given who everyone wants the Heat to face if they are a Heat fan.
Unless you just want to annoy the Knicks fans.

Its just a thread that will attract Knicks fans here to lurk and troll. I bet OP is a Knicks fan too.

New York. Both are weak but I want to be the ones to shut up the Knicks.

Philly wouldn't be as fun of a series that we would have with New York! So New York! Oh and Bron vs. Melo would be entertaining!

The coward wagon wants Philly. I want the Knicks. Do you know how great it would be to sweep the Knicks out of the playoffs with all of their annoying fans coming to watch the home games in Miami and call the radio shows to talk about how they're going to upset the Heat...
The Knicks aren't good. Who can pass up a chance to kick a rival in the teeth while they are down? I can't.
But yes. Philly would be the easier round. Though I'm kind of tired of playing the Sixers. Plus they are probably due a big win against us.

This right here makes me ALWAYS pick the Knicks whenever I'm asked this question.
Still don't see the need for this thread though.

We don't have a great bench. We want our stars to exert least amount of energy. So philly. We will beat the knicks regardless, but its a waste of energy

Both aren't so bad, I want the Knicks. Sweeping them would make me so happy!

But you post.
You think this is less relevant than the spo is a fool threads that you litter with your teenage posts?
Philly would be nice and then Indiana and the two seed is a nice route through to playing whoever comes out of the other half. Who knows it could end up being Boston or NY and then we'd still have HC.

Some think the post is meaningless because its obvious you want to play the Sixers.
Other think the post is meaningless because you would prefer to play New York.
Meaningless or not, its this post that gives you the idea of who Heat fans really want to play.
I would never imagine so many of you would prefer to play New York.

Knicks easily to remind them that they're in another decade of irrelevance and mediocrity.

Does it really matter we are capable of beating both those teams. Sixers lack the star player and Knicks lack star chemistry. I live in New York I admire Carmelo Anthony and when he is on the court without Amar'e Knicks play good with Amar'e they suck. CHRIS BOSH is 10 times better than Amar'e and we can beat both those teams in 4 to 5 games . If anything I prefer New York so we have that fire to win. Dwyane Wade last year didn't even play against the Sixers until Game 3. If we play the Knicks this team will be ready from the start than can ease up against Indiana and than get refocused against Boston or Chicago.

Please, do me a favor and show me ANY thread I opened with 'Spo is a fool' or anything of that sort.
I'll be waiting.

The 3 point shooting of the Knicks is such a mystery it makes them so dangerous. If Smith and Novak convert on open jumpers your chances of beating them become almost non-existant. The sixers truly lack that scoring punch. Lou/Iggy/Turner are all great players, but I can't see one of them taking over the game and winning it.

Thing is, JR is a hilarious chucker! If his shot is falling, its falling. No matter what you do. How do you handle such players? Make sure they don't get hot early. Try to make them get a cold hand early. He'll keep chucking up shots and wasting possessions even when he's cold.
If he gets hot down the stretch, play him very tightly again till he gets cold. He'll be ineffective for the game. Why did Boston lose to them the other night? They didn't even guard the 3pt line AT ALL. They just left JR & Novak wide open ALL GAME LONG. They didn't even look like they WANTED to guard them.
Novak is dangerous though, because he's a pure shooter unlike JR. But I remember Battier shutting him down twice now already. The key to that will be to NOT play Mike Miller on him. Battier should be the one on him. Miller can't guard anybody LOL.

Easier opponent? Philly. We own their souls.
More entertaining opponent? NY.
