Where Bosh ranks at his position

I was wondering where y'all think Bosh is on a list of top power-forwards in the NBA. I don't mean to troll, so I won't even state my opinion on this. I've just had this conversation with many of my friends from miami, so I was curious what y'all think.

Just a numerical ranking (top 5, top 10 etc), or who you think is clearly better or other 4s you would trade bosh for 1 for 1.

A few "rules" of this ranking when i've had this debate with my miami friends:
1. Age and salary shouldn't matter in terms of value, so for example, you clearly wouldn't trade bosh for KG because one is in his prime and the other is an old man, but if you think KG would improve this team over bosh this year then he would be ranked ahead of bosh.
2. 3s and 5s count if they play the 4 on the regular, but not if they're basically a "pure" 3 or 5. So melo and dwight couldn't rank ahead even if they might, hypothetically, be more effective at the 4. But duncan, horford etc who could actually be a legit 4 could count.
3. "Fit" matters. So Bosh might be valuable in a vacuum, but if another player fits better in context of this teams strengths / weaknesses, they would be ranked above him.

Obviously you don't have to abide by those, but I was hoping to get an outside opinion of the conclusions I've reached in my experience with this discussion.

He's around the 5-7 spots, and a bad fit for this miami team.

I also suspect he has ongoing health issues that made him slim down.

1 and 3 really take a body blow to Bosh's value. I'd take him about 6th or 7th which is still pretty impressive. I wouldn't take Griffin over him because of inexperience. Or Smith because he's an idiot. Or Aldridge because he'd suffer the same problems Bosh does here. But surprisingly I would take Ibaka.

That's an interesting theory. Makes sense though, especially because I think the obvious solution to the center problem is to get bosh to bulk up and have lebron start at the 4 or play more at the 4 with a little haslem when you gotta give bron a break. A bron / bosh front court would just space the floor so well.

Top3 IMO.

Love
Aldridge
Bosh

He's marginalized in our offense, not really his fault. When it's just him and Bron, you want to tell me you don't think he's a Top3 PF? Blake has nice dunks and rebounds better, but I don't think Blake could be a #1 option on a team. Bosh can be. Bosh's game is underrated IMO. PEACE.

Offensively I'd say only Dirk and maybe Love are better.

His best skill is the offensive side of the ball

In the Heat he gets less touches, what you expect

Lol what? Missing Dirk, Gasol, even Duncan is still better than Bosh.

Dirk and Duncan are old. Duncan can't give you enough minutes in a season, and if Dirk isn't beasting on offense, he's not better than Bosh IMO. Bosh plays defense.

Gasol you can make a case for. I've always said I liked Bosh more than Gasol, so it's a toss-up to me. They play the same kind of game, but Pau rebounds better with his length, while Bosh gives you a bit more athleticism on the offensive end.

If you have a different list, I won't fault you. The reason lists like these differ all the time is because different people value different things from different positions. PEACE.

Love
Dirk
LMA
and then Bosh/Gasol/Griffin

Griffin would be a terrible fit in Miami as a 3rd option.

What type of health issues do you think he's going through?

How are you all putting Bosh above KG, Dirk and Love when they all severely outplayed him this year (especially KG). I understand Bosh isn't getting the offensive looks he should be getting, but come on. If you added any of those 3 in place of Bosh I would feel 10x better about the Heat's chances.

No one's put him above Love, have they? When Wade was out, Bosh looked better than KG and Dirk this season IMO. As for swapping him for any of them, no thanks. Love? Hell yeah, but not KG and Dirk. Both are about to retire. We have a core of Bosh+Bron that could beast for years after Wade starts to decline. PEACE.

I dont know the all story behind the weight loss, Raptors fans could probably give us more info about his injury and backround. from what i heard he gained alot of mussel before he had that hightlight half a season with the Rapotrs (the best he ever looked, he was beasting everybody) but then he started to have legs issues because his body couldnt handle the extra weight.

what i do know is that guy is 28 and looks 33 out there. i find it amazing that nobody is talking about that. he looks like he has no lift. i cant believe it when i hear someone says he's athletic. HE USED TO BE, but now days he just looks weak.

This is a perfect example of some fans on here

Bosh is being defended by the DPOY

Someone posts a highlight of Bosh dunking vs the worst Nba team of all time % wise

Has it really come to this?

Ummm.. Bosh is supposed to be a elite player and he is missing bunnies the entire series.

And who cares who that dunk is against? Its impressive nonetheless.
