I love how the HEAT are keeping their mouth shut this year.

Seriously. Remember during the playoffs last year Marc Cuban FINALLY shut his damn mouth during the entire playoffs until AFTER they won? Our guys are acting alot more professional.

Like they say, silence is bliss.

Pacers are just ASKING for it right now.

What? We were well behaved last year. Just because the mass hysteria created by hypocrisy and jealously purposefully misinterpreted every word that came out of a Heater mouth doesn't mean we were doing much trash talking.

We never trashed talk or anything....

though besides that Wade and LBJ coughing incident, they were pretty well behaved, the media just blew everything out of proportion.

Then they had press conferences after every win or loss, even if it was the Raptors or Wizards... that was stupid.

Now they are just playing ball, trying to get better, and win a championship. But yeah they never trashed talk or anything. Maybe spoke to the media too much but everything is okay now.

One thing about our players is that they are respectful (again besides the Dirk coughing incident) to the other opponent, before and after the match. Indiana right now is just straight up being disrespectful lol.

There was just an article discussing Wade saying something to the effect of "We know Mike has made more shots in this series than he made all last year [with the Heat]," Wade said. "Send that to Mike."

I think Wade is taking it upon himself to do the talking and is letting Lebron concentrate on just playing basketball.

Everyone was on their nuts last year and feigned offense at anything they did to stir up controversy. Even now they are trying that TMZ **** by acting offending that Mike Biamonte said Amare was "Extinguished".

The Heat haven't really changed, it's just the coverage isn't the same.

Yeah, that's just another statement blown out of proportion. The fact that he said "Send that to Mike" shows you he was half-kidding, since they know and like each other. This has been the problem ever since the Big Three came together, as others have pointed out, so I don't really understand this thread. Nobody around the organization was really talking, we even answered the most ridiculous questions up until we lost in the Finals and even then we rarely ever lost our cool.

You guys can't be SERIOUS. I didnt just mean talking btw, being arrogant in general and saying stupid crap.

The Big 3 welcome party ''its gonna be easy, not 7, etc''.
Wade's world trade center comment?
LeBron's ''karma is a bitch'' tweet?
Bosh ''We just want to chill''?
Spo telling the world our players are crying?
Taunting the Mavs bench in game 2 when we went up 15?
Mocking Dirks illness?
LeBron's game 6 finals interview talking about how people will have the same lives they had before they rooted against him? That was so dumb...

I know I have to be missing stuff too. This year wer'e being very professional. That's all im trying to say. We seem very hungry and wer'e not letting stupid **** get in our way. Our guys are pissed about last year's finals. I bet they think about it every single day.

None of this has any bearing on the actual game.

There have been champions who were quiet but there have also been plenty who have talked trash along the way.

First, that's not how you use quotation marks. Secondly, the goal is to win multiple chips. Gee, what a scumbag Lebron was for being truthful and hopeful. That party perfectly expressed every Miami fans feelings. It was for us. **** the other butthurt teams.
Wade's world trade center comment?

No one should ever bring up WTC as hyperbole, but when you're answering the thousands of questions Wade does in a year he gets to **** up one metaphor.
LeBron's ''karma is a bitch'' tweet?

True as hell. Lebron's right. Or are you criticizing the entire ideology of a major religion?
Bosh ''We just want to chill''?

Like a Bosh. He's a funny guy and that comment fits his personality.
Spo telling the world our players are crying?

Spo's an idiot. Threw his players under a bus. I wouldn't even try to defend that.
Taunting the Mavs bench in game 2 when we went up 15?

Waaaay overblown.
Mocking Dirks illness?

It was funny. Dirk didn't die. Far from it. So it's still funny.

With all the **** Lebron had to take from a nation of drooling idiots, that was downright polite. Not to mention, it's true and surprisingly insightful at how pointless all the mass hysteria was. Personally, I'd rather have seen Lebron call out all the clowns like Gilbert and the embarrassing fans.

I know I have to be missing stuff too. This year wer'e being very professional. That's all im trying to say. We seem very hungry and wer'e not letting stupid **** get in our way. Our guys are pissed about last year's finals. I bet they think about it every single day.

It sounds like you bought too much into the outside media and fan perspective last year. As Heat fans we were able to stand above all the bull and keep clear heads. It makes us a superior fanbase because we didn't devolve into a pack of moronic hyenas howling over nothing. We had one of the brightest media spotlights any sports team has ever faced shining directly on us all of last year. The team handled itself extremely well under intense and unfair pressure. The only regret any of us should have over last year is that we didn't win it all.

And the Heat players should have rose above it as well and not done some of the things I had listed. The less they said, the better honestly. I cant even think of ONE thing they have done this year that even comes close to one of those things I listed I think.

Look, you can justify it all you want, its your opinion, and I have mine. I think the Heat cared too much about what the outside world thought about them, although I dont think I blame them now that I really think about. But they didn't become mentally tough until the playoffs, All I really meant to say. Honestly, all I care about in the end is the product on the court. But now things are more relaxed, the Heat are just another team now. Also, lets be real man. You think that **** they had to go through being the most hated team didn't bother them at all? They are humans, and honestly its something little to no teams have had to go through.

I hope you understand what im trying to say, from one Heat fan to another.
