Symbiotic Shooters

So what's going on with this team's "shooters" ? Aren't they in Spo's mouth supposed to be an integral part of the team ? You know stretching the floor and all that ?
Am looking at you Jones, Miler, and Battier. I mean at least Chalmers can hit the rim.
3-point shooting is 1-22 for the series. Shot just a lil better in the Knicks series but still below average.
And if you don't get the reference here is the article.

James Jones is the only shooter who you don't have to tell to shoot
sucks he got injured during the 2nd quarter. (For those people who keep asking why JJ didn't come back in the game)

We have no ball movement, its easy to defend the 3pt line when we're just playing ISO ball.

But penetration is supposed to be initiating the perimeter shooting, not ball movement.
Also, if Vogel cut Jones and Amurdson's minutes they would be much more dangerous.

I swear JJ was in at the end with like 14 seconds left... guess I heard wrong.

JJ was poor, Miller needs to step it up, Battier has to shoot when he's open, Rio has to not give silly fouls.

Yeah I don't get what happens to shooters when they come to this team. Who knew it was so hard to get a money 3 point shooter in this league.

I think it's the pressure.
They know that they are important in the team ethos. They get wide open shots - perhaps with too much time to think and the pressure is on.
On a no-chance team it doesn't matter and they normally are in a position of "having " to shoot as the clock runs down or as they are being closed out and habit takes over replacing the brain.
Having said that Miller has shot reasonably well this year. his problem is doing good enough every game.

When did JJ get hurt? I missed part of the 2nd quarter because I was driving to a friends house.

These are the guys who are letting the team down. Not Lebron. Not Wade. Not Bosh.
These "shooters" have proven in their careers they can make the damn shot. But they are not doing it now when it matters. In a home game no less.
We gave Mike Miller a lot of money to come in and make his open 3s. There's no excuse for a shooter of his calibre to not be hitting these 3s at a better clip. Same with Battier. Same with Rio.
If we go out again this year, Mike Miller is for sure getting amnestied. This disapearing act he's pulled in the playoffs is what is murdering us.
Make the damn shots. Do your job. No excuses.

I think you should share the blame around to every player (and the coach). No-one is doing enough at the moment.

Is Chris bosh symbiotic too ? Cuz it looks like the offense is doomed without him.
