STOP OVERLOOKING CHRIS BOSH FACTOR

This team was put together in a way we've never seen before with 3 of the top 15 players in the nba in their primes playing together. As some have also stated, management didn't do a great job of finding good role players for cheap so this is the end result: 3 guys who have to score 75+ on most nights and good defense for you to win games. What do you think will happen even if one of them goes down? Especially when you're facing a bigger team that likes to crash the boards and Bosh was capable of giving us 10 a game. The most overlooked fact about this whole situation is that people forget that other than Bosh we have literally no frontline scoring. Joel/UD/Turiaf all cannot even give you 15 points combined. Bosh got that in his sleep. If this team had another PF/C that could score and rebound consistently the way UD used to, we wouldn't even be talking about this. Bottomline, with the way the team is put together, Chris Bosh being gone hurts us more than it should and people should recognize this more.

That's a fact. But when you see Wade's behavior, LeBron's 2nd half or the shooting of our (open) 3pt specialist, you can't blame the way this team was formed (/the lack of Bosh). With Bosh this team is a contender. Without, it's at least a team that should win 4 of 5 games against Indiana.

This series isn't over yet though. People also forget how many pick n rolls Wade and Bosh run that helped Wade score as well. His attitude has been poor but i think its just frustration with his game and there's no doubt in my mind that Chris Bosh spacing would help him tremendously.

I think we all realize how big a loss Chris is, but I think we all realize our team has to be strong enough to overcome it. We still have Lebron and Wade. If Bosh's spacing is so crucial to our success that we get blown out by the Pacers than we have deep rooted problems. Part of the benefit and reason for putting together a team with 3 number one options is that if one goes down with injury we can still move forward.

That's exactly my point. Outside of the big 3, the team isn't put together well. Your point about if one goes out, another steps up doesn't work if its Chris Bosh because he's not replaceable. Nobody else on this team can do the things he does. When Wade goes out, Lebron can take his place because they do the same things. When Bosh goes out, we can't even get the frontline to even come close to matching his production which has a lot to do with Haslem declining. If Haslem was still his former self then we would be searching for real answers as to why we're down to the pacers but people really underrate the impact of scoring from your big men. Ask most championship teams.

Lebron's trying. It's difficult to watch him tangle with West down low. It must be killing him. We can't blame the composition of the team because Haslem is exactly who should be filling in. Not sure anyone could foresee this strange, dramatic decline of his.

Bosh would've killed Hibbert if Bosh wasn't hurt.

remember 1st game when Bosh had 15 points before he got hurt?

Hibbert is too slow to guard Bosh and at the same time he has to respect Bosh's mid-range game.

The old UD would have filled in perfectly too. He'd give us the rebounding and elbow jumpers we desperately need. Cmon Haslem, give us a few throwback games.

Yup basically because it's not his normal position but if Wade was out Lebron could easily move to the 2. Nobody could've foreseen Haslem's decline and it really came back to bite us in the ass.

This, dude was off to a monster start and just abusing Hibbert left to right. Sigh

Bosh's injury is possibly costing the series.

I dont see us winning game 4.

Bingo. Bingo. Bingo. Hibbert being forced to leave the paint would allow Wade to get in there easier as well as Lebron and also having to guard Bosh would wear him out. Bosh was the biggest X factor in a series like this. If we were up against Philly we would've been up 3-0 by now.

I dont see us winning game 4.

This is exactly what i said when he went down. He was the difference in this series. I still leave room for the possibility of Lebron and Wade willing us but its highly unlikely.

It's a best of 7. We are down 1-2. We have a 3x MVP and a Finals MVP. The odds for sundays game are: Indiana +127, Miami -140. We are favorite.

Chris Bosh dragged opposing centers out of the paint on defense, making it much easier to get to the rim for LeBron and Wade. That to me is the factor that impacts the Heat a whole lot more then just the front line scoring. I don't think that it's lost on anyone that Bosh is indeed an integral part of the team, no matter how often he gets made fun of. Bosh allowed the Heat to do a lot of things, he kept the pick and roll honest. He could grab boards, he could stretch the defense and he could score on his own. Quite frankly, it's no secret to a lot of people that the Heat would struggle once he went down.

Bosh's main strength is his outside shooting to spread the floor and his ability to face up the opposing 4 and drive to the basket.
Haven't really seen Miami utilize him to his fullest... but now with him gone,
definitely you can see how he effects floor spacing on the offensive end of the court.

Lebron and Wade are playing 2 against 15 because our role players refuse to step up other than Rio who played a once in a season game today. This type of heavy lifting will wear them out moving forward. They can't outscore the entire Pacers team by themselves for 48 minutes. Lets get back on the topic of Bosh please because i really think people take it for granted considering the make up of the roster.
