Dexter Pittman has been terrific lately

Post#1 » by pp34thetruth » Fri May 18, 2012 5:50 pm

I mean, last nite he was in beast mode out there on the floor, crashing the glass.
Hope that he'll get more touches as the playoffs advances

I didn't really may much attention to him other than he was trying to show some energy. When he has to defend the P&R, he's done, they eat him alive with that. That's why Joel got in right away.

It's Pittman. He is young and hasn't enough move to play on the big stage for important stretches. There is no way that he's on the court with Hibbert. That's suicide.

Im glad Dex it finally geting a chance and i hope he does well, but that's exactly how we dont develope players the right way

instead of geting him regular playing time in a season we gave up on the the number 1 seed anyway - he hardly got and chances and didnt play in the playoffs at all.

to make thing worse - insted of leting playing at Home - where rokkies and role players always do much better - Spo gives him his first chance on the road, on a high presure game.

F*ck Spo, im not blaiming Dex if he does poorly tonight - the coaching staff sabotaged his chances.

So many things wrong with this post...

Terrific lately? Last night was the first time he's played in the playoff's!

Crashing the glass? You do realize he had 0 rebounds right?

Beast mode? LOL

I agree with what Dennis Scott and Greg Anthony talked about on Pittman and the lack of inside play from the bigs on NBA TV. Dennis Scott was amazed how fast Spo pulled Dexter Pittman. Scott question why he didnt even give Pittman a chance to prove himself. Anthony talked about how playing James, Miller and Battier are getting wore out trying to help out on the interior and its effecting them as perimeter players on offense.

Especially now that we have James at powerforward, Spo needs to allow Pittman and maybe even Curry out on the court to bang with Hibbert, even if its fouling him. They may not stop him, but atleast bother him and save some of the physical punishments on James, Battier and Miller. But i dont think Spo is in favor of being physical down low.
