Stop with the Injuries, Age, Tiredness Excuses...

The oldest team in the NBA, the Spurs just came back from 24 points to beat the crap out of the most atlhetic and one of the youngest teams in the NBA...

So stop defending DWade saying it's his age or that his leg has a boo boo...
Stop saying LeBron is tired...
Stop saying our core is too old...
Stop saying Mike Miller got hurt...
Stop saying Udonis hasn't been the same...

All the adversities we had this year, the Spurs had too and their players are OLDER than ours but yet they still play hard and win.
Why?

They have a coach.
They have heart.
They have a trio in Duncan, Parker and Ginobili that do NOT make excuses and give their all night in and night out.
They have players that respect their coach.
They have a team mentality.
They have no ego.
They have the heart of a champion.

We don't.
Stop making excuses...

Im not making excuses, Im just frustrated the way we're playing.

seeing the Spurs playing basketball is just amazing. Coach Popovich knows how to put his players in great position to suceed. All his players respect him, listen to him and the players know exactly what their role is.

Honestly, I can't stand Coach Spoelstra. I hate his "hold on to the rope" "get over the hump" BS

Start coaching man instead of sayin all that overused BS.

Can a Mod do their job and stop this guy with the personal attacks?
Don't like my posts fine but you're crossing the line a-hole...you're Mr. Righteous, Know-it-All, Best of the Best, etc. etc. etc.

Wade’s game got worse over the years for two reasons : his behavior/mentality and his health. He developped a lot of bad habits and all his booboos expose them even more.

Brazilian wrote: Stop saying LeBron is tired...

He is not.

Brazilian wrote: Stop saying our core is too old...

Some of them are past their prime, but that’s not a reason to miss open shots.

Brazilian wrote:Stop saying Mike Miller got hurt...

But he got. Injuries often cause much more damages to 3pt shooter. Though, there aren’t any more excuses for him to be bad at this point.

Brazilian wrote:Stop saying Udonis hasn't been the same...

Right now he sucks. He misses open shoots, he hustle less, he doesn’t lead his team. Back then in the time he did. So yes, he isn’t the same.

Brazilian wrote:All the adversities we had this year, the Spurs had too

That’s a joke right ? Heat are by far #1 as of having to fight against adversities in this league and the Spurs are around like #25. Come on.

Brazilian wrote:They have a coach.

The have a more experienced coach. 16 seasons to 4. 4 titles to none. If you really want to blame somebody here, blame Riley.

Brazilian wrote: They have heart.

We terribely lack of heart this season. I hope all the **** that is going on in this series will help them.

Brazilian wrote: They have a trio in Duncan, Parker and Ginobili that do NOT make excuses and give their all night in and night out.

We have 3 superstars in their prime. They've 1 superstar and two stars who perfectly fit together. You can’t archieve that chimestry in two years.

Brazilian wrote: They have players that respect their coach.

THIS.

Brazilian wrote: They have a team mentality.

We have one, but it gets destroyed by childish tensions between some ‘’captains’’ and the coach. They need to fix that. Now.

Brazilian wrote: They have no ego.

No ego ? Made me smile. They are older and have one of the best coaches ever. We are ''young and dumb'', they are ''old and wise''. Nothing to do with ego.

Brazilian wrote: They have the heart of a champion.

That doesn’t mean anything right here. They have less spotlight and people seem surprised every year again that they can ball. That’s nonsense t right here.

Cheers

Spurs lost in the first round last year. Oh they lost because Ginobilli got hurt? Buh buh, spurs don't make excuses....

Give me a break. If Tony Parker blew up his knee tomorrow and then the Spurs subsequently got beat by the Lakers or OKC, the Spurs would be making excuses just like everyone else.

I think people don't understand the difference between an excuse and a factual reason.

The Heat are not as good without Chris Bosh. DWade is playing like crap. These are facts.

Also it would be fascinating to see if a team like the Spurs could stand up to wall to wall media scrutiny and universal hatred.

I just read the title and stopped halfway through the first post - some teams were built with this condensed season in mind - deeper bench. The Heat did not have that luxury and added players they thought would show up in the play-offs. I want to keep the big 3, cut everyone else loose and look for a non-ring chasing bench who still have legs in the post season.
Bird deserved exec of the year and Pop deserved coach of the year

Look at that...

No excuses and a nice victory.
DWade was a monster...how? He stopped his b*tching! He stopped bickering with his coach. Stopped making excuses about his leg, his knees, his pinky, his hair...
With that, Welcome to the Playoffs Mr. Wade...welcome!

As for Haslem...ABOUT DAMN TIME!
Welcome to the Playoffs Mr. Haslem!

Now when is the welcome party for Miller and Battier?

EX-F*CKIN'-CUSES!

It's the post-season, who the hell cares! It's the time to play injured.
