Did any of you ever think Wade was better than LeBron?

I'm assuming this season, everybody can agree that LeBron James is the best player on the Heat and better than Dwyane Wade but before this season it was a legitimate debate and a legitimate comparison between who was better between these two and it has been like that for almost every season since they have been drafted in 2003.

Did you guys ever think Wade was better than LeBron? If so, what seasons did you think Wade was better than LeBron in?

For example, I know plenty of Heat fans that believe that Wade was the best player in the league that year and better than LeBron and some say he should have been the MVP.

Personally I did think wade was better than lebron when they were in different teams. I always felt lebron was a better athlete but I loved wades will and killer instinct.

Quite naturally, most Heat fans felt like Wade was better than LeBron. We watched Wade do big things in the playoffs his rookie season, when LeBron wasn't in the playoffs. We watched Wade put up legendary numbers his second season in the 05 playoffs and dominate a Pistons defense that locked Kobe down. Unfortunately he couldn't finish the deal because of the rib injury, but again LeBron still hadn't made the playoffs. Then there's 06... We watched Wade destroy the Pistons defense and at one point he was shooting at a 70% fg clip before he got sick. That same Piston's defense gave LeBron problems. In 07 Wade was great coming off the Olympics, but he tore his shoulder up and he wasn't the same after that. LeBron made it to the Finals in his second season in the Playoffs and on his way there he had that legendary game against the Pistons. The Pistons' defense wasn't the same without Ben Wallace, but it was still a legendary peformance by LeBron.

Since 08-09 it's been back in forth... But LeBron has proven to be the better #1 option for his franchise. He's been more consistent than Wade. LeBron has won me over as a fan not just because he's a Heat player now, but with his approach to the game! He brings it night in and night out! He's rarely sloppy and careless with the ball. His passes usually hit shooters right in their shooting pocket! I love that ish!!!! He's become an elite defender!!!! This boy can guard any position on the floor and lock that person down!!! He is clearly the best player in the League and should've been the Defensive Player of the Year.

But Wade showed the world recently why we thought he was the best in the world! Because when he's turned on and focused... There aint a person, team or defense in the League that can touch him! He's destroyed some very good defenses in the League like no others!!! Look it up...

I did up until '09/'10. I always thought Bron was more-consistent with his greatness, and a more-complete player. However, I felt hot Wade was better than hot Bron. I admit, I didn't watch many Cavs games back then, and didn't really like Lebron much.

Now it's pretty apparently Bron has been the better player a long time, but it doesn't matter because Wade is still one of the greatest players of all-time. Top50 for sure, with the chance to be much-much higher by the time he retires.

I think there are certain aspects of the game each of them is better than the other. At this point, it's LeBron's consistency that gives him the edge and to me is the most impressive part of his game after two years of watching him night in and night out. Overall, I'm not concerned with this topic though. They're the two best in the league (even though the media won't have it) and they're on my team. I laughed my ass off when everybody was hyping Durant and Westbrook up and declared them to be the best duo in the league.
Back when LeBron wasn't here, I obviously camapagned for Wade but always thought they were on one level, even though I never thought they were as similar as people made them to be.

Well, I been Lebron fan for long, I never felt wade better. Wade was pretty much like Kobe very lucky to be around dominant shaq back in his early days.
On the other hand lebron was very unlucky to where he was drafted & playing, he had to do it all by himself year in & year out.

Yes, I did, still do. Right now I think that Lebron is the best because he is more consistent, Dwade doesn't have the body and playing style to be as consistent as Lebron. However, with them both playing at their best I think that Dwade is better than Lebron.

But all that doesn't even matter to me anymore, because for all I care they're the two best players in the league right now.
