I know we've ragged on him the past 2 years for always being hurt, but I've come around to giving him a lot of credit. He looks to be in a good amount of pain yet he's still shooting decent and diving for rebounds before he runs to the bench to lay down. Just figured I'd get my 2 cents out there haha.

What's he been hurt with though?

I've never really criticized him but rather dissapointed.

It's always good to see him have a great game because he's been through a lot since coming here to Miami.

I can also kinda relate to him because I've always had injury issues during HS basketball days. I could never play up to my potential, one year I couldn't play at all dealing with bunch of nagging injuries.

Anyways, it's good to see him bounce back and hopefully he gets that ring this year with us.

And his back.

While I commend him for it, showing up for one game isn't enough to make me hop on the Miller train. Asides the fact that he's incredibly injury prone and appears to be made out of glass, I hope he continues to provide a spark of production from the bench for this team throughout playoffs and hopefully win a championship as a result. After that, I want him gone.

I appreciate Mike for all the hustle he brings despite if he is playing bad sometimes, dudes been injured for awhile now, I can't condemn someone for something they can't control.

With the James-Wade duo already dominating, if he can be Horry kind of player, show up once in a while to make some big shots, that should be enough.

Everytime I see Miller to the point where he barely could run, he makes a nice defensive play/steal. He will always have my respect.

alright he showed up in a huge game while injured, I give him props.

But like someone else said, I've been more disappointed with him on this team rather than really hate him, as much as I rage.

But he is so god damn injury prone, it is ridiculous. For the amount of money we're giving him, we can get like 2 players who can be productive for that type of money....

what on earth is he injured with and how the hell did he get injured?

I know he has back problems, but he plays like 20-25 mins a night, he got hurt off the court again or something? I know he falls a lot, but if he got hurt because of those, omfg he is made out of glass.

I like his hustle and I appreciate him for playing through pain, but he's playing because he knows if he stops at a TIME LIKE THIS, he will be amnestied next season without question. He has missed so many games... and sometimes he doesn't shoot, sometimes he does, then when he does, he'd miss badly or just pass it. He had a good game 6 no doubt. But CONSISTENCY IS KEY!!!!!!

He has been good lately even on defense, igniting runs. But again, he knows if he stopped playing right now because of injuries, he would be gone next year with no questions.

Disapointed by his play and health while Respecting his Heart and toughness.

Much respect to Mike for fighting through it.

No respect, these threads always pop up when Miller has a good game. You can't have 7 bad games in a row and then 1 good game and garner respect. He's playing because he knows if he sits out the PLAYOFFS, he will surely be amnestied...which should happen anyway.

It's funny how JVG described Miller "running like a 60 year old man". It's true.. But he had a nice shooting night. Still want him gone. We could do a whole lot better with 5 million per year.

I'll appreciate this scrub when his 6mil a season is used a player who can actually play every game and help the big 3.

MILLER is the -highest paid player on the team after the big 3- and yet he hasn't sniffed the court much and hasn't done much at all.

This is a big reason why our team is not as good as it could be. I don't care if he's playing while injured. He's been injured 2 years.

The LEAST he can do is go out there and play while injured. At least then he is not a complete scrub and a thief at the same time.

It's actually kind of cool to wonder what we could accomplish if we used that money on a big or something instead...

Tell me who is the most paid player on our roster, there's actually a player who KILLS our cap space more than Mike Miller.

But I agree, MM is a scrub now but he plays his heart out, you can see in his eyes he wants to win and his effort getting rebounds is always good to see.

When healthy, he gives us a lift in scoring and rebounding. However, his health (or lack thereof) has been a serious issue for us.

I respect his heart. I respect his hustle. The guy gives you his all when out there, even if we sometimes take issue with his hesitance. But he's got a warrior's spirit, and I love that.

I don't want to sully the thread with my opinion of his contract and GM decisions. I'll just say that if he's with us in the coming seasons, that he's able to stay completely healthy and provide the much needed productivity he require from him. PEACE.

I don't know why anyone thinks Mike Miller 'fears' amnesty. He would get given $16.8 million dollars to go away if amnestied after this season. He would be 33 years old, and with the way he hobbles up and down court, not playing would add years to his life. And if he still wanted to play, he could probably grab the vet minimum elsewhere on top of this salary, earn more money and keep playing.

Yeah, he probably would regret not being able to play for a championship, and letting people down, but I don't think any player is really fearing amnesty that much, it is free money, with the opportunity to make more.

It's very embarrassing to get amnestied. Guys around the league will give you hell. The Heat are the most high profile team in the league. If Miller gets amnestied, the whole world would know and laugh. There are plenty of quotes from Miller over the summer where he was begging not to be amnestied.
