Couldnt agree more. They were all over us the entire game, in reality we only got the foul call like half the time we were getting fouled, and we STILL shat on them at the free throw line. They have no answer for our athleticism, and are forced to foul 90% of the time (or more).

It's also mandatory for the officials to get the calls right 100% of the time or else they will be burned at the stake for being riggers!

to those fans : if there's no ref it's called street ball dumbarse. The celtics won't have refs too. Let's bring it then, we'll gladly put pittman and haslem on the field , let's go ? lol.

Oh and all those whining "rondo got raked ,no call ....Wade&Bron get breathed on..AND1 " ..and " what annoys me is , a guy shooting 24 FT and the opposing team shoots 29 in total" ...

OH HOW ABOUT THIS for REALITY : Lebron and Wade actually drives to the damn basket 80% of the game. , and that's mostly the identity of this team.

WHen you drive you're gonna get calls, because people are gonna foul you. You really think the BOSTON SMALLTICS are going to let you get to the basket easily ? KEEP DREAMING.
THey will foul and the driver will get calls.

FACE IT , JEALOUSY IS A INEVITABLE FEELING WHEN YOUR TEAM ARE GONE AND THEIR PLAYERS ARE SITTING AT HOME WATCHING HEAT GAMES.

All of this is happening because the Heat haven't won yet.

Winning rings gives you a pedigree. Win more than once, and you start seeing how people only care about winners.

If it wasnt for the refs in game 6 against atlanta or against philly, boston isnt playing in the ecf

remember how the refs stole game one from the knicks against boston last year?

i'll admit that the refs do make some questionable calls
but what bothers me is ppl only care when the heat are involved in the game
wont hear a peep about the refs in the WCF

It's quite humorous see read posts from Lakers fans saying how rig the game is considering they have a championship that was given to them by a referee who got caught fixing games in their favor.

I know all Heat fans are riding high on an exciting win but there is more than mere anecdotal evidence feeding the notion that many fans of other teams feel the NBA front office is tilting games in favor of the Heat. First, there is the obvious motive the NBA would to support big market teams and/or teams with superstar power (i.e. the brands the NBA sells). With San Antonio or OKC coming out of the West, both relatively small media markets, they'd naturally stand to make money if they Heat came out of the East rather than the Celtics. Add to that the NBA desperately needs to consecrate "brand Lebron" with at least a championship so he can continue to be one of the faces of the league moving forward.

With that said I'd be interested to consider if Heat fans think of the following information:

Lebron James had 5 personal fouls in the entire Pacers series. Are you really going to argue that a player can play as aggressive of defensive as James does and only get five personal fouls in a six game series? In the game 2 broadcast, even Jeff Van Gundy thought this was a bit much.

19.8 % of all technical fouls called in these playoffs have been called against the opponents of the Heat. The game 1 techs against Ray Allen and Doc are particularly curious given Wade's routine behavior whenever a call doesn't go his way.

In Game 2 against Boston, Miami shot 47 Free throws (including 24 from Lebron) compared to 29 for Boston (including 6 from Paul Pierce, the all time leading Celtic in FT attempted who attacked the basket all night; think about what being the all time lead in FT for the Celtics means: more than Bird, more than McHale, more than Maxwell, more than Hondo, more than Cowens, more than 30 Hall of Famers who played for Boston).

And then there were the calls that everyone is talking about: Pierce fouling out on what could have been an offensive foul on Wade; Wade's hit on Rondo's head; and Wade's kick/KG fouls. These are tough calls but all of them went to Miami. Again, Van Gundy who, in my humble opinion, tends to be pretty objective felt motivated to point out that all three of these calls (or no calls) were a bit dubious and, in the case of Wade's foul on Rondo, absolutely untenable.

It's obvious I'm a Celtic fan and I'm sure this post will be met with vitriol and contempt but, I'm hoping some Heat fans might be willing to engage in some discussion on this issue.

and further to my comment above KG should NEVER have finished an NBA game in his career. Foul after foul after moving screen after foul every single game. Yet he's won DPOY.

What is there to discuss? The Heat are superior to the Celtics and as such beat them.
