....... then a championship will be on it's way, however if they decide to throw games away by missing the most elementary part of basketball then forget it.

better to miss FTs now than in the Finals. HEAT better realize their FT abilities suck.

Just made your free throws 4 games in a series, that's all we ask for at this point

game 6 trying to force a game 7, it looked like today except the huge deficit.

couldn't get stops or rebounds, and missed a handful of FT's.

this team... don't know what to say. I don't know why we suck at FT's. They maybe rarely practice it.

They suck at freethrows because Wade told Spo to "Get the phuck outta my face". No respect = No Discipline = Bad Practice Habbits

No excuse at all honestly. 80% should be a given from Wade, Lebron, Chalmers, and Miller. I honestly don't even know what we're accomplishing by trying to draw up fouls other than trying to send someone on the bench cause they obviously don't care about free points.

Lock these clowns in the gym and make them shoot FT's until their arms fall off. We may have to forfeit Game 5 while guys are getting their arms sewn back on but it'll be worth it in the long run.

What really pisses me off is that it seems to be contagious. When one guy sucks, everyone else starts sucking. As if it's OK to start missing because your teammates are. :banghead:

I hate how Lebron shoots free throws. Sort of like throwing a garbage bag inside the dumpster.

Can we show a bit more focus on the line seriously...

Ugh, EASILY the most frustrating thing about watching Heat basketball. I'm sure we lead the league in like missed technical FTs or something like that.

They should be al made to come in today and just take FTs. We are going to be fouled if this is how we waste points.

This isn't Hack a Shaq this is Hack a heat time.

Those "clowns" were the 7th best ft shooting team in the league during the regular season.

The only guy who has really shown any kind of effect over a decent sample is Wade who is shooting 11% worse. If Wade shot his season average of 79% instead of his playoff average of 68% he would have added less than a point per game on average.

Wasting a large quantity of a limited resource in practice time would not be wise for a small incremental improvement. A better use of that time would be working on the offensive inconsistencies of this team.

Also it only "seems" to be contagious because extreme events are more memorable. You'll remember if three guys go 2/6 from the line but forget all of the times that the two later guys go 4/4 after the first guy misses a couple.

Every fan of every team complains about free throws because they remember the few times where they feel it cost them.

10 of 20 is not acceptable, stop making excuses.

Sometimes you just go through stretches where you can't hit free throws, and it hits the whole team. There's no rhyme or reason to it. The guys want to hit them.

How long have you guys been watching this team? they've been a dreadful FT shooting team for years. it's not going to change during the finals. we just gotta hope that LeBron, Wade and a healthy Bosh play at a high level.

Lebron and Wade have been shooting 74-78% at the line for 9 years, it's not going to change now. No need to waste extra practice time on it.

The thing is, I've always liked how Wade did his FTs, when you watch him shoot at the line he LOOKS like an 80%+ shooter until you see his percentage. Lebron has always looked stiff and awkward at the line though, he's 9 years into his career and he still hasn't figured out that he should use his legs at the line too, rather than just his upper body. It's interesting how much he's improved as a jumpshooter over his career, but how his FT% hasn't changed a bit.

What's Wade's free throw percentage so far in the playoffs? I would not be surprised if you guys told me it's 60%.

I just hate the fact that Wade is either really good at FTs or really bad at them.
