Spo sux, any1 else notice..

Post#1 » by deception23 » Sat Jun 2, 2012 4:48 pm

That he literally repeats the same tired phrases over and over?

"It was a grind"

"Don't let go of the rope"

yadda yadda, listen to a Doc Rivers post game interview and then an Erik Spoelstra, it's NIGHT N DAY... I told my buds the BIGGEST thing I fear in this series is Doc's coaching, the guy is an absolute animal out of the time out and in-between game adjustments regardless of who is on the floor...

Biggest mistake Heat made was not letting that clown Spo go and seriously go after Doc Rivers before he signed the Celtics extension last year.. the guy wows me as a coach plain n simple, the players have to go out there and make plays, but Doc puts them in position every time

Nobody that coaches a rival team will ever come to the Heat.
Phil pulled out of the Magic race hinting there may be a better team to join. We all know which team he was talking about.

And any of you who say "Pat wants to catch up to Phil, not help him widen the gap" you couldn't be more foolish. If Riles wanted to catch up to Phil he'd have taken the reigns last year.

Finally, Spo is our ace. Nothing we can do about it. To remove him would jeopardize the "family" relationship that we sold these guys on in the first place. None of the core goes, none of the coaching staff goes (at least for now).

Spo's adjustments have gotten better. Still no where it needs to be but slowly but surely he's improving.

Though Spo isn't the one missing 10 FTs nor is he the one letting a terrible rebounding team out rebound the Heat(towards the end the Heat were a lot smaller but it did play dividends in cutting the lead to 8 just not enough time to push more).

Yeah Spo sux. He plays no defense & is too short to posted up anyone, cant run the court fast enough, cant hit a free throw, is 42 years old, & every time he gets the ball he never shoots it.

I have to say, Spo's phrases have been contagious.

I have heard many coaches around the league repeat what Spo says, it's rather entertaining.

SPO WILL ALWAYS BE THE ORIGINAL GUY TO SAY "DON'T LET GO OF THE ROPE!!"

Yeah, Spo sucks because he repeats himself during post game interviews. Gosh, how dumb can people be? Making a troll account to post **** like this?

Spo doesn't suck and this is the worst way to attack him if you were trying to prove that.

Yes he has his stupid phrases but so do a lot of coaches, good and bad.
Your emotions fuel the narratives that you create. You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. You ascribe meaning when it is not there. You create significance when it is not present.

What great adjustment is Spo supposed to make? He's tried everything. There's only so much you can do when you're so undersized and playing against a team that actually knows how to throw a post entry pass.

We literally won last round because no one on the pacers knew how to get the ball inside.

Also Rondo is outplaying both of our superstars, and talking smack the whole time while doing it.

Is this the overreaction thread? I missed the 4th and OT, so I'll read this thread to get good analysis of what happened after I left the bar. The thread title is a great start. PEACE.

Reminds me of D'Antoni, except D'Antoni was a beast on Offense.
