He had his house on the market when he assumed the amnesty worst. Perhaps he's been told to get his affairs in order?

Nah MM is a businessman, and that house is not making enough revenue.

We all know how MM loves $tealing money

Got to respect the man!

MM has been a warrior this whole playoffs...he can barely walk but he still gives it his all when he plays.

I would have liked to see him healthy at Miami.

He is probably preparing for the worse.

Who knows. How we finish this year will determine whether he stays or goes.

I know I make fun of him because he gets hurt all the time, but at least the dude tries.

I Feel he was healthier when he signed, mixed feelings about mike, would love to see him healthy, concerned about injuries to our players in general

if he was, i doubt he'd be told about it in the middle of a playoff run

Dude may just want a different house. Hasn't he always had a house in florida even when he's played elsewhere?

So we amnesty Mike Miller and we replace him with who? It is not as if we are clearing cap space to where we can sign a FA to replace him. We are stuck with the $3mil MLE. All we would accomplish is opening a roster spot. He would get his money and go play for someone else at our expense.

I am not sure this is the way to get rid of him. If we could work out a trade then we it makes sense. IMO, the amnesty "bail" rule should be saved for later on in 2014 when LeBron, Bosh and Wade could opt out, in case we have to start from scratch and removing Miller from the roster would speed up the rebuilding process.

Yeah I hope that Free Agency period isn't as crazy as the one that brought them all here.

Miller has been trying to move that house for over a year now. I don't think that, in and of itself, is indicative of anything except maybe a slumping real estate market.

To echo what heat4life said, it's not as if amnestying him gets us anything other than a roster spot and saved Arison a few million in luxury tax. We're dealing with the mini-MLE regardless. Beyond that, you can best the organization is loving how he's gritting it out through these games, even though he's obviously (even perpetually) hurt.

I was of the mind he was gone when he went right back to the inactive list shortly after returning from the hernia injury;. However, after reappraising the cap situation, I don't see him being moved at all. Trade value would be next to nil at that salary unless he can string together a good stretch of injury-free ball... which I'd love to see from him. He was great in those first few games/weeks of the season.

Yeah right. Tell the guy he's out when you're still on course to win a title this season and he's a crucial part.

What are you smoking?

Look at how Mikael Pietrus played for the Celtics.

Played defense, hit open 3's, drove to the rim for layups when mismatched.

Mike Miller is the highest paid player after the big 3. He's a huge reason we are in this mess.

He will be amnestied. Too injury prone and shies away from the shot. Not as effective a passer as he once was and despite the rebounding effort that's a risky place for him to be. I call him Glass Joe after a Nintendo or Atari? boxing game from back in the day.
