Riley better stop adding wing players until our C position..

is fixed.

The new exception hurt us a bit.... The old one was at $5-6 mil a year, and that's how teams like the Lakers got to buy a few rings.

$3 mil a year though is ENOUGH to get a decent Center. We can always do what Boston did with Brandon Bass. He makes $4 mil a year for two years, and the 2nd year is a player option. So, I imagine they basically told Brandon, "Hey, come play in Boston for a year, possibly win a championship, get major minutes on a playoff team, and then if you do really well, you raise your value in the Free Agency market. So you can opt-out of your 2nd year and be a FA and get a bigger contract. If for whatever reason, after your 1st year, you want to come back to us for another year at $4 mil, then you can opt-in, good situation for you Brandon!"

We should do something like that with our $3 mil a year. We have an advantage... our proposition is better than anyone else. The highest profile team in all of sports, needs a damn Center. With a decent Center, we would be unstoppable. Who here still remembers Luc Longley from the Bulls? An average run of the mill Center, and everyone in the world knew his name. If the Heat can get a Center to help us out, we would be a DYNASTY! Our offer is great ....

secondly, Riley needs to lay the hammer of God down on our scouts. FIND US A CHEAP CENTER. Look at what Boston did with Stiesma. He is 6'11 Center and is providing solid minutes for the Celtics.... and his contract? $762,195. WTF! Our scouts SUCK. If we can find a cheap Center, and then add another Center with the exception, we are golden. We would be able to change the look of the game with every sub. Anthony providing quick energy, shot blocking, tiring guys like Garnett out, letting the team go into an uptempo style since Joel can run up and down the court very well.... or if we need to go bruiser and rebound... send in the other guy....

Also, why are we failing to sign guys that are right there for the taking?
Kyrlylo Fesenko agreed to terms with the Warriors, then the Warriors CHANGED THEIR MINDS and went back on their agreement. So Krylylo didn't have an NBA team for 3 months until the Pacers signed him for $457,926 on March 23, 2012. Why the F didn't we sign him after his Warriors deal fell through?

Chris Wilcox signed with Boston for $3 mil. His contract is up after this season. This is a veteran guy that we could definitely use.

Anyway, these are just examples. BIG MAN should be our #1 priority. I can't believe I am hearing Riley is going after Andre Miller. He already stretched it with signing Shane Battier, he better not ignore our C position again. And NO, I realize Eddy Curry will probably be back with us next year, but no. He's a 15th spot on the roster and irrelevant. He doesn't count.

let's wait until after the post-season is over.

We're in the FINALS for God's sake.
