You're doing Association mode on 2K and you have to set the rotation and minutes for the roster. What are your rotations and minutes assigned to each player?
*Assume we sign and trade Joel + PHI 1st for Camby

*Assume Miller out for the season or majority of the season from surgery
Chalmers/Cole
Wade/Allen/Miller
LeBron/Battier/Jones
Bosh/Haslem/Hamilton
Camby/Dex
Chalmers: 25 min
Wade: 32 min
LeBron: 35 min
Bosh: 32 min
Camby: 22 min
Allen: 27 min
Haslem: 22 min
Battier: 18 min
Cole: 15 min
Dex: 10 min
That would be my ideal minutes for the regular season.

Justin Hamilton will get stashed overseas. Look for Terrell Harris or Jarvis Varnardo or a veteran minimum guy that is ring chasing to take the last 1-2 roster spots. we will hold 14 or 15 players.
I see Wade averaging a career low in minutes this upcoming season, Miller wont be rushed along, probably rested and saved for the playoffs. Allen will aslo be conserved and used in bursts throughout the long season. JJones will be the spot minutes swingman for most of the season.
Rio and Cole will share PG duties during the regular season but Rio will get the lion share of the minutes come playoff time.
Rio-Wade-Ray will be the 3 guard rotation when the playoffs role around.
Lebron-Battier-Haslem (and Bosh in bigger lineups) will be the forward rotation when the playoffs role around.
Bosh and LETS HOPE Camby would be the centers when the playoffs role around.
that would be our 8 guys who play the majority of the minutes with spot minutes from Miller, Cole, JJ and DexPitt depending on foul trouble and matchups.
if we cant land Camby and we can convince Rashard Lewis to come for vet minimum he would assume the minutes as the 8th man almost exclusively. we would be going small a whole bunch in that scenario.

I pray that we dont move Bosh to the 5 permanently. That is NOT the solution to our problem at Center IMO.

If we can get Camby and Rashard, something like :
Mario-28/Cole-10/Wade-8
Wade-22/Allen-26/Harris
Lebron-34/Battier-14
Bosh-20/Lewis-14/Haslem-14/Varnado
Camby-22/Bosh-10/Pittman-10/Joel-6
But it all the depends on the matchups we'll face, the form of each player at a given time and the development of the young guys. Spo will have some options to put some different lineups which is great.

That options we have for next year even with that roster is amazing. Hopefully Riley can pull off getting Camby and Lewis. The potential of that roster is out of this world for that group.

No doubt man. im pretty confident we could get Rashard for the Vet min from everything i hear, but Camby will be the real difference maker. IF we can get both we'll be one of the most versatile teams ever constructed. we'll have 4 legit starter caliber guys that can play in multiple positions (Wade, LBJ, Battier, Bosh) depending on our needs and with what our coach feels plays to our advanage. that's a big tool to have.

Ok so it seems as though NY will get Camby. I really don't see us being so desperate to get him and we shouldn't be. But, looks like we're in the running for Lewis.
Minutes around the roster has been discussed. Some have wondered what Cole could provide next year.
So my prediction is
Starting 5
Chalmers: 28
Wade: 32
LeBron: 33 (hopefully since he's still busy with the Olympics, need to manage his minutes)
Bosh: 32
Joel: 10
Bench
Allen: 28
Haslem: 22
Battier: 20
Cole: 15
Remaining 20 minutes to Jones, Pittman, Lewis
*Assuming Mike Miller is injured for the season. At this point I really think it's wise to use the amnesty on him if he's not retiring. God bless him he was great in G5 but can we really count on him to stay healthy?
