Watching the Knicks crumble

Post#1 » by Riley is God » Mon Jul 16, 2012 12:35 am

It's delightful and deserves its own thread. They finally have something good happen to them (Lin) and they lose it after only half a season. Watching them (past two seasons) sign Kidd, Novak, Stoudemire etc and trying to fool themselves and the fanbase that they are going to be competetive is even better. They might be a worse run franchise then the dolphins. Havent been relevant in 20 years.

We have an "around the NBA" thread, u can hate on them there with the rest of us. opening a thread just for this is kinda silly.

So we're "soft" because we don't stoop down to the level of the idiots of other teams' fanbases? Gotcha. And I wouldn't understand because "I'm not from Miami"? Gotcha.

I don't like to kick teams when they're down.

I also think the Dolphins have been just as bad as the Knicks have.

Well seeing as I was born in the 90s and only started watching basketball in 2003, no. The Heat were the first team I watched living in south Florida. What does it matter to you?

i just assumed you weren't because any Heat fan that was watching the heat/knicks rivalry in the 90's would enjoy the Knicks demise and want to defend our team as they continue to talk s***..but its all good

This is the kind of trashy thread a knicks fan would post about us. Lock this up

lol I wouldn't say soft, just fickle. Instead of supporting their team/players when they are slumping, they kick dirt on them.

Quite frankly, the Knicks are irrelevant, don't deserve to have their own thread on our board.

This. I enjoy watching the Knicks suffer as much as anyone, but that doesn't warrant it's own thread in the Heat board.

I just like the Lin drama, because they're getting worked up over an overrated player. Kidd getting a DUI is unfortunate for him and his family IMO. I don't revel in what it does to the team, because I think it's a personal tragedy for someone some of us hoped had turned his life around. PEACE.

We don't stoop down to the Knicks fans' level, by creating threads hating on other teams. The worst Heat fan is more classy then most of that over-emotional, over-hyping, annoying, moronic, and hateful fanbase. They've done less in the last decade than the Charlotte Bobcats, and like others have said, they don't deserve a thread on this board.
