So who do you think will get the final 2 roster spots?

As boring as it might seem, for chemistry reasons, we may just go with:

- Ronny Turiaf
- Terrell Harris

No teams seem willing to offer Turiaf more than the vet's min, and if so, would suggest he will return to Miami.
Terrell Harris has some upside and is familiar with the Miami Heat. He'll probably be the first one cut if someone else becomes available during the year off waivers.

I say 3 spots (cut Jones):

-Harris
-Dozier
-Hamilton

Maybe more of a hope, but all 3 possess traits the Heat love. I don't see any C available that I'm convinced will provide more than what we have in place. If they don't feel comfortable going with Justin, sub him out for Turiaf. Harris and Dozier are too tantalizing too pass up for this team, and bring surprisingly absent athleticism and youth.

there are some free agents still out there. I think we wait to see who shakes free from a summer league camp. If we have to go with Hamilton and Varnado. I think we will need pf play if Bosh moves to center and you dont want Lebron playing too many minutes at the 4.

At the very least we should keep Harris.

Cut Pittman; sign one of Darko, Blatche, Turiaf; keep Hamilton & Harris.

I have no real in depth post just would like to say I suppose i'm one of the few who would like to see Turiaf return as well.

Hmm. If Pittman is already included, then I'd say Hamilton and Varnado. I like Harris, but he's got almost no chance of getting minutes unless we have an injury. Carrying 7 guards would be a bit much. We have 4 SGs alone right now if you consider JJ and Miller SGs. PEACE.

Cut Pittman loose...he sucks and so does Hamilton

I think its too early to call on Hamilton. If anything, he's shown he can be solid.

I like your thinking on Oden, though. That's my pipeream. Sad pipedream, I know.

Darko I'll embrace with warm, open arms if he's signed, but god do I not want to have to make that hug.

Dozier isn't much smaller dimension wise than Varnado, is thicker, and is just a better, more athletic player at PF than Dozier; coupled with the fact that he can easily play/guard SF too. In fact, I'm automatically going to read every vote for Varnado as "Dozier." I know we all want Varnado to be Joel 2.0, but man he looked awful out there. Joel has so much more energy.

MY DOZIER LOVE WILL BE VINDICATED.

We won with them high fiving guys who were actually playing. Why not try to improve and bring in rotation-capable players? That said, I do want to keep Harris and wouldn't mind Turiaf part deux. So, while I disagree with the path you took, I agree with the destination.

I don't know why but I feel Miami will ship Hamilton over seas to play Euro ball next year so he can work on his game. They may bring him back at mid season once Euro ball is over but obviously they would have to cut someone.

Darko & Oden.

I'm actually kinda pissed MM is not getting the surgery, that extra roster spot would have been prime for Oden, & allowing us to keep Harris as well.
