OKC is still head and shoulders the best in the west

Post#1 » by WadeInTheWater » Fri Aug 10, 2012 3:44 am

So i have no idea why any of you would be panicking just because they got Dwight. Why are some of you acting as if Kobe and Nash are in their mid 20's?

OKC's youth and athleticism will tear the Lakers apart. The reason OKC couldn't do to us in the Finals what they do to everyone else is because we are the only team in the league that can match them for athletic ability.

You're telling me the slow a$$ unit of Kobe, Nash, Gasol, Dwight and whatever scrub SF they put out can match what OKC will throw at them? NOT ON YOUR LIFE.

This league is all about speed. Heat and OKC will wipe the floor with the Lakers in the first regular season meetings wait and see.

This board is so predictable. Something happens and there's the people wondering/suggesting that it could be bad, there's the group that come saying "We're defending CHAMPS--I ain't scurred", and then there's the group that comes and says "Why is everyone panicking instead of being super calm like me? Everyone else is so misguided".

Without fail. Even my post is probably part of the formula.

Pretty much, I try not to be part of these groups, but I probably am anyway.

It's called common sense and not being part of a online discussion clique.

"scared" might not be the right word, more like "nervous". If you weren't at least a little nervous this thread would have never been made.

Just thank you're lucky stars you play in the LOL East and you won't have to face a tough team until you get to the NBA finals.

Your part of the formula is calling out people's grammar and fact checking.

Let me get this down, Heat fan praises OKC because they beat OKC, but doesn't think the Lakers are a threat to OKC. Hummm just the first of many outrageous threads that will pop up this weekend.

Honestly man I'm not going goo goo over Howard, yeah most of my board members are eating this up. I've spent the better part of all summer arguing that we didn't need him. But on the other hand I'm not dumb, I understand why our ownership did this move. Basketball wise we'll be a major threat to OKC weather guys feel they're still better than us or not. Fact is they have a slim margin for error now.
