I was reading in another forum that the heat will be changing their black away jerseys. Instead of it saying heat it will look much like their ALT red jerseys and say MIAMI instead.

they will also have a winter court jersey? (this picture is from an adidas catalog)


and looks like the heat will be wearing these jerseys for a hardwood classics night this year.


I really don't like them changing the black away jerseys, I hope its not true.

I hope they don't change the aways. Our jerseys are perfect as is. Can't wait for the throwbacks this season though

Damn, I always loved that we were one of the few teams in the league whose main road uni said the team name instead of city. Having the reds say MIAMI is good enough. Our blacks have always said HEAT since '88.

Those throwbacks will be SICK. I've been hoping for those for awhile. Best Heat jersey in history IMO.

Not sure how good the monochromes will look. Should've thrown in yellow instead of white, or even all-yellow to get crazy.

I went to the two games in 2007 (Wizards, T-Wolves) where we wore a special black jersey with Latin American flags comprising the side panel stripe the first year of Latina Noche. Those had MIAMI across the chest if anyone wants a better idea of how it looks.






Actually, looks pretty good. I like MIAMI better on the black and would like to see them put HEAT on the reds now.

For those wondering if/when the Heat will make minor tweaks to their jerseys, one of the teams with a similar tendency to not overhaul their uniforms totally will apparently be making a change.






Their last set was introduced in 2002 while our current was in 2000. I have a feeling us and the Lakers and maybe Pistons will be making similar modifications soon. I think the Heat will do it for the last season the Big 3 will definitely be together (2014). The league has to know a year before, so we'd have to be finding out pretty soon, although teams have been keeping it more hush-hush lately, and we know the Heat. I would like to see orange re-introduced into the scheme.

I like the away jerseys like they are now. Hope they don't change anything.

The Hardwood Classic Red jerseys are great though, I like them a lot, much better than the white version.

Yeah way better than the whites, especially since when we threwback to those we still used that awful shiny "glacier" material that made them look horrible.

Yeah, I was re-watching the '06 Finals the other day and the jerseys were just awful. The shiny material looked so cheap, the Aways looked like they were made from garbage bags. So happy we ditched the shiny crap.

Yup. You look at LeBron on stage during YES. WE. DID. and he looks so much different in that old plastic-looking ****.

Some are nice, especially the greys, but overall I'm not sure I love this. Maybe its just because ours suck. (I suggested yellow highlights earlier, but even grey would look better than white.)

Thanks for those pictures from 2007 did they ever sell those in stores or at the team store at the arena? And the website is jerseycentral.org (all the people on there are jersey collectors) some of them have the Adidas fall catalog that shows which jerseys will be released during the upcoming season

Yeah they sold those jerseys for a limited time. You might see people rocking them to games every now and then. I remember it was so weird seeing them wear black at home. That was before that craze really took off, even though we had previously worn our normal blacks at home at least once Shaq's first year here.

Black jersey with "Miami" is fine. Not really a big change.

Red throwback is amazing.

Winter is fugly for every team. Seems like something you'd make in Paint.

I agree on the shiny material. It sucks.

Those red throwbacks are timeless! Can't even to see them on the court.

I agree those are timeless. I think the next unis should be based on those, but updated. The name font looked so much better, as did the vertical numbers.

And the Winter Courts are just Adidas being stupid. They seem to lack good taste as a company in general, and obviously want to capitalize on the success of the Heat's all-blacks. These will be shiny, also. I don't see the connection to Winter. Its just money.

I don't like the Winter Courts jerseys.... it's just the letters with nothing inside of them. It's really boring in my opinion.

I mean for some teams they look okay but... it's just a waste of money really.

I'm skeptical of the black jersey change. Those are my favorite jerseys EVER. I just like how it says Heat

Winter Court Jerseys look like practice jerseys to me, or like those cheap jerseys you can buy at Wal-Mart.
