Obama Heat Shout Out

In a recent interview with the New York Time's President Obama was comparing his campaign to Mitt Romney's and used this line “We’re the Miami Heat, and he’s Jeremy Lin."
Whether you vote for him or not, thats pretty funny and a great reference

Screw Obama. He should have been impeached when he declared to congress that he would not ask them for permission to go to war, & that he will not listen to them, but instead only listen to the united nations.

Lord Leoshes is indeed in the Bizzaro World...
Only Congress can declare war and Congress controls the money. The country only goes to war if Congress approves it either through an official Declaration of War or by rubber stamping whatever the sitting President asks for. Either way, the responsibility is still up to Congress.

I don't care if he said it while dancing naked on the roof of my house, it doesn't mean a damn thing. It is defined in the Constitution what the job of the President is and what the job of the Congress is (and starting wars without the Congress' approval isn't in the job description).

The constitution is not what is in question here it is the lack of respect towards it that our officials give ( or in this case don't ).
I wish they would pay more attention to the constitution, & less on foreign bankers.

Wait a minute...now it's "officials" in general that are the issue? I thought it was about Obama saying he'd take us to war without asking for Congress' permission? (something he hasn't done by the way and cannot do...) That is what your original post was....

I stay away from my political perspectives, because people let there personality shine behind the computer screen. It is still cool he mention the Heat! I dont hear Rangers (Bush Team), Bulls (Obama's Team) in the conversation

Obama is just another puppet that is controlled by the pharmaceutical industry, the military complex, & over seas banker.

Now: Obama is the world champion, the battle tested achiever, Romney is the 15 minutes of fame guy who hasn't achieved anything and is getting by on hype, a guy who has been shipped out by those that know him best, believing he is not worth his asking price.
Back in Feb: Obama is the big name, who is hated by everyone and has underachieved in respect to what was anticipated, whil Romney is a guy who came out of nowhere with little experience, but carried his team on his back with great success while also being a great ambassador and spokesperson while inspiring millions of people who previously had no interest in the industry
Obamas quote makes a lot more sense now than it did in February

What was this? This proved a whole bunch of nothing. I feel as if though you don't understand the subtleties of legislation or decision making. Did the US initiate a war? No. Did it participate in war-like activities? Yes. But considering the words of the constitution, they technically did not initiate a war. But setting up a no fly zone without the consent of congress is iffy in several ways. Do you risk the lives of thousands in order to follow something that isn't easily discernible. It's a tough call. But at least Obama didn't fabricate WMDs or mislead the nation in order to go to war in Iraq. Bush's sins are a bit more straightforward than Barack's.
Also, supporting Ron Paul is pointless. I don't believe he will ever get nominated by the RNC. And according to this
