I know their are fellow heat fans that like this kid, so do I, but I really think that Dozier and Harrelson would fit this team better. I know I am not a savay business man like Reilly maybe kinda bring the spurs take a look at harris, let's face Kid good enough to play for a team, but not right fit right now for Heat.. Around the league teams go out of there way to help others skew the Heat, and Heat need some friends. Ex. Mchale, and Ainge and Lakers they about go them all. Friendly gesture never hurt nothing and I think Harris would fit with the spurs. Anyway, Heat needs pesky guys, gritty and I think Harrelson and Dozier offer theses things.

OP, I've been touting Dozier all summer. Love his potential here, was impressed with his play in summer league, and thought he played pretty nicely in ATL. His game is suited for playing next to stars and doing many little things. His length, athleticism, and defensive versatility would fit like a glove here.
However, he'd have to do a whole lot to make the team over Harris, who has built up a bit of credit with the team. I don't see Harris not making the squad, so the team may have to give up on Pittman or drop Jones to bring in Dozier.

i always think about whether or not we should drop Jones, but he's become so reliable that i just can't endorse it

Yeah, its nice to have that on the bench, even if he's super one-dimensional.
My main issue is how great of a teammate he's been and the fact that he's from Miami.
