How do you guys $hit on a member of our 2012 Champs squad? I just cant do it. Harris holds a spot in my heart that Temple just hasnt filed yet. Harris all day.

The way I look at it may be a little different than some, but as of today I voted for Temple.
I'm looking at choices based on positions of need.
Harris is a good athlete/player but we have Wade and Allen on the team and if needed we can have Miller, Jones or even Chalmers filling the spot. What Harris does not offer is handles and floor general abilities.
On the other hand you have Temple, a 6'5" PG with decent handles and play making ability, who can fill a void that is difficult to fill, who can also play defense and if any of our PGs go down he can come in as a natural PG. He can also play SG if required.
So based on efficiency and need, Temple would be my choice.

I'm one of two people that voted for Harris. Temple is that natural fit if one of our PGs goes down, but with Wade and LBJ handing the ball, it's not like Temple is going to be creating shots for them anyway; it'd be mostly just to take the pressure of Wade/LBJ to bring the ball up the court.
Defensively, I like how Harris rebounds, has good lateral quickness on defense that enables him to cover a lot of ground, and is pesky which leads to forcing turnovers. He's also a decent offensive player as far as 3rd stringers go. Not a solid jumpshooter, but he's working on it. He also makes good cuts to the basket.

I'm of the opinion that if we sign Temple he'll have taken over Norris Cole's spot in the rotation by a quarter of the way through the year. Norris Cole has showed no progression in any of his game besides the 3 point shot so far, and he might just be having a hot streak. In fact some of his game looks like it's regressed if that's possible.
I think we need to sign Temple, we have enough wing depth which is what Harris really is, and Temple has shown some great ability to lead the floor, he has much better handles and passing ability. He would be a great backup point guard to have.
I was a big advocate for Rodney Carney, but he must of smashed Spoelstra's wife because he was the best performing non guaranteed player, then he was sick for one game, then the next game barely got any minutes then after that it was basically all over, quite sad because he's the better player than Harris as well.

Love the game thread.
I think Harris is a pretty good jumpshooter, but not better enough than Temple to trump Garrett's playmaking. Terrell's athleticism is also nice, which is why I'd prefer him over Jones, but between these two I went Temple.
Interestingly, Temple's #1 fan Ira changed his tune today and is predicting Harris, in part because of Chalmers getting healthy. Very odd, because Winderman has been championing Temple since before TC even started.

Looking forward to seeing Anthony Davis I haven't seen him play since the Olympics. I think the kid has all of the tools necessary to be the next great big man in the league.

Bosh will teach the rookie a thing or two tonight. Anthony Davis should pattern his game after Bosh. They're both quick and have a good wingspan, also skinny build.

@MiamiHeraldHeat- This quote from Wade—"We got a couple new guys who are still trying to learn our system."—makes it sound like Harrellson and Temple are in.
