Ailing LeBron, Wade both practice

MEMPHIS -- Miami Heat teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade both practiced Saturday despite dealing with an injury and illness, respectively, and both expect to play Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies.

James continued to receive extensive treatment for a right knee contusion he sustained in Friday's win against Atlanta, but plans to fight through the soreness and stiffness to play.

Wade missed Friday's game against the Hawks with flu-like symptoms and still sounded congested as he spoke to reporters Saturday. But he mustered enough energy to get through the light practice, and also beat teammate Ray Allen in a three-point shooting contest after the workout...

Shane will have his hands full with Z-Bo, to say the least. This is a tough game, we don't match up well with Memphis in the first place, plus we have Bron and Wade not 100%. Gonna be tough to pull this one out.

Go Heat.

First Heat game of the season that I'll be able to watch (At some ungodly hour). Can't wait!

I'm interested to see how Battier/Bosh do against the Memphis front court.

Well he will start, and I wouldn't doubt seeing a lot of Lebron on Zbo.

Heat have nobody to keep Z-bo or Gasol off the boards, Bosh's rebounding has been sub-par to say the least

Lets hope the shots are falling.

God, the Miami Midgets V.S the Memphis Mammoths. I fear for Ser Shane's life.

Going to be a great game. I hope we win, but just excited to see how our small ball line-up will fare against their talented front court.

The Heat need to rebound. Memphis is crazy on the offensive glass. Gasol averages just about 7 boards per game but 2 of them are ORB. Randolph is leading the league in rebounding and averaging 6 ORB per game. The good thing is Miami beat Denver despite being out-rebounded by 15 & giving up 18 offensive boards, but on the road with LeBron - Wade not 100% I'm not too confident. Hopefully the 3pt shooters come to play and Bosh has a monster game on the glass.

They are going to pound us on the boards, Z-Bo is going to wreck Battier haha. But I still think LeBron/Wade can win this game for Miami.

IF YOU'RE SCARED...........

Z-Bo and Gasol can't guard the rim if they are out on the perimeter guarding Bosh and Battier.

We must win the second chance point battle.

Also.. drive constantly and draw fouls.. Be aggressive.. When we are at the top of our game.. No matter how the front-court is.. We're going to win..
That being said.. It always helps to win without stressing our ailing superstars..

Expecting a tight, physical game reminiscent of this past USA vs. Spain, Olympic Gold Medal round. Heat (USA) will be at size disadvantage against the Grizzlies (Spain) but their clear advantage in talent, speed, and shooting from distance will carry them through.

Forget putting LeBron on Randolph, Rudy Gay is no slouch either
