POLL - Is LeBron James human?

Simple yes or no question.
I've never seen a player who can look so carefree on the court and still average a near triple double, but ever since last year whenever the Heat need him the most it's like he has his own "God mode" switch that he can flip. Once that switch is flipped, it's pretty much GG for the other team. Tonight scarily reminded me of that game 6 vs the Celtics not too long ago... How good is this guy?

I thought maybe he is superhuman but even that's putting it lightly.
Who the **** has a 6 pt on 33% shooting 1st HALF and finishes the game with 38/10/6 shooting over 50%?
Lebron James.

Scary.
History being written as we speak. Nothing else that goes on in the league right now will matter when we look back on the LeBron era.

That = 45.8 PER. RT @CoupNBA Last 5 minutes, +/- 5 points: LeBron is a +18, 14 pts on 4-of-6 FG, 5-of-6 FT with 5 ast and 0 TO in 15 min.

The only thing that is a bit worrisome is that after all the talk about the new pace and space, positionless thingy... its becoming increasingly apparent that the only real difference is that we have lebron james and the other team does not.

Dont say that, we were blowing teams left and right on our first 5 games or so.

LOL, define 'ends Heat's season'.
Because the Heat without Lebron is still a playoff team.

Since LBJ entered the league, he has put up 38/10/6 26 times. The rest of the league in that span: 22 times.

"I mean, how did anybody ever question him -- looking back on it now -- in big moments? This guy is the ultimate competitor. He gets absolutely amplified in these situations, and you can see him coming to life. He's done it over and over again. We don't take it for granted. He's the best player in the game, but he does it in the most important moments." © Erik Spoelstra

LeBron wins the Eastern Player of the Week for a record 38th time.....he then goes out and scores 38 points. Mere coincidence or something else (Android? Basketball God? Illuminati?)???

The dude is a monster. Let's not pretend he isn't the dominant reason this team will win championships. You can literally put him on any team and that team will become playoff-bound at the very least (except maybe two teams in the league). That's an incredible weapon, but other players can't become complacent letting Lebron dominate at the end. That's not sustainable, and everyone has to play their role from beginning to end.

the guy is an animal. perfect size. if you could field 5 lebron james on one team theyd never lose a game ever. he has the quickness and speed to go against any guard and wing on the planet but than he has the strength to bully them like pre schoolers. on the other hand hes strong enough to guard and battle down low with the likes of gasol, ibaka and chandler but hes so athletic they dare not to cover him on the outside.
mismatch nightmare

What kind of silly logic is this? How would the Lakers be without Howard? Thunder without Durant? Celtics without Rondo? Clippers without CP3? Spurs without Tim Duncan? Rockets without... Oh wait they aren't contenders anyways my bad.
Anyways I'll just leave this here:

LeBron James continues to raise the barNovember, 13, 2012
By Tom Haberstroh | ESPN.com
Somehow, LeBron James just keeps surprising us.
Now in his 10th season in the NBA (yes, it's normal to feel a sudden rush of oldness), James continues to evolve as a basketball player. Coming off a year in which he won MVP, Finals MVP and an Olympic gold medal, James hasn't become complacent with his game, and it appears the virtually unprecedented prosperity last season has only motivated him to raise the bar.
Here are three parts of James' game that he's elevated so far.
1. He's shooting 3s like Ray Allen.First, a little story: Several of the team's finest shooters would participate in a shooting contest every day after practice during the season. This has been a daily ritual for years now, but Allen's presence raised the stakes for Miami's sharpshooters such as Mike Miller, James Jones, Shane Battier, Mario Chalmers and other ambitious players.
So, one day after a long shooting competition that wrapped up a preseason practice, Allen walked over to the waiting media huddle, wiped off his sweat with his jersey and began fielding questions.
Predictably, here was the first query: So, did you win the shooting contest?
Allen shook his head and laughed, "Nope. LeBron did, believe it or not."
This has happened a few times. Allen comes over to the media and he admits that James has beaten him in a shooting contest. Wait -- James consistently beating arguably the greatest 3-point shooter in a shooting contest? How is this possible?...

Which two? There can't be too many rosters worse than the 04-05 Cavaliers and that team barely missed the post-season. Plus LeBron has improved a bit since then.
