Didn't get one over the summer as I suspected, but the man is working into the right direction.

"You have to know your problem," Wade said. "When I'm missing, I already know how and why I'm missing. I know that I don't have a lot of arc on my shot. So I know that me shooting on the way down is really fighting against the wind

"It's a combination of it all," he said. "Obviously you have to plan for [the future]. At the same time, you understand that you want to open up the game. You want to get better.

"And then, I have a different role on this team. I know that I don't have the ball all the time to be able to get the shots I want to, so I need to take shots that come and are available. So I need to be ready to shoot them and feel comfortable shooting them."

If Wade can get a consistent 15 footer OR 3pt shot going it is scary what he will do to defenses. Imagine HAVING to play Wade close up when he stands on the perimeter. This guy will drive past any defender, carv up the D and either finish, kick it out or give it to a cutting Bosh. Look out league.

I think Ray Ray has elevate the shooting of the whole team. Miller Chalmers, Lebron have raised there percentage

I was very happy when I heard this. I believe it was Greg Anthony who said that you need two things to age gracefully, a post game and a jumpshot, and Dwyane was already halfway there by having a post game. Wade is too great of a player to let himself fade away.

We need to utilize Ray properly. I like the fact that he's not scared to be aggressive with the ball and drive when the lane opens up, but we run 1 play for him and it's infrequent. We have him coming off a pick to curl around the wing. When it works, it's great, but if the defensive stays with him, then we give up. I remember watching us play Boston many times, and there was a simple, yet effective, play where the PG drives to the basket and the PF or C sets a screen on Ray's defender while Ray is sitting in the corner. It's a great play that we need to utilize, along with having him come off screen after screen. Having him sit in the corner, makes him equivalent to James Jones or Mike Miller.

This article here is a little more interesting:

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/8780167/nba-miami-heat-dwyane-wade-answering-critics

With this being the most important part:

Wade said his doctors explained to him that his recovery would be a long-term process, with swelling reoccurring at given times.

That was a large reason for some of his more uncharacteristic performances, particularly in mid-November. And it's why his coaches and teammates paid little attention to his struggles. They all knew what to expect.

"We knew he just needed some more time," Erik Spoelstra said. "Everybody wanted to make assumptions and evaluations then, which is totally ridiculous."

That's Spoelstra killing a lot of people around here.

This essentially shuts me up about his lack of minutes. I didn't know Wade requested his minutes to be reduced. Hopefully this article opens people's eyes because it sheds some light on a couple of things pertaining to Wade's game/production this season and seasons to come.

Sometimes we are quick to make comments without knowing the whole story. It's human nature. Just disappointed that he didn't work on his jumper earlier in his career but he probably had other issues to deal with like a crazy wife and custody battles. Just happy he realized he had an issue

He's having the 3rd best shooting season (from mid-range) of his career and close to being his 2nd. I'll let you guess which two seasons those were.

His jumper looked **** beautiful tonight WHEN HE WENT STRIGHT UP. when he's leaning or fading..it turns to crap. He got like 4 stright long jumpers tonight when he just went stright up, shot, nothing but net.
