There's a shocker. Windhorst rode LeBron's ass down here while hating the Heat the entire time. He pretty much leeched off LeBron's talent and popularity to try to become a regular basketball writer. From the second he arrived at the "Heat Index" he'd always take subtle jabs at the team.

This. All he does is compliment Lebron daily(which Im cool with) and talk sh*t bout the heat. Everybody knows he is a cavs fan

Wade's our boy, but I can see how outsiders(especially the Heat hating variety) could find some of his antics over the past couple years a bit say.....obnoxious? He's become a bit of a diva. Complaints to the refs and not getting back on D, and his retaliation fouls and such.

Calling him a 'dirty player' is overstating it, though. Physical? Certainly.

Guys, just let this die already. That "Dirtiest player in the NBA" thread was at the bottom of the GB and a few Heat fans kept bumping it up. What good does it do?

Also, David Lee body slammed LBJ and nobody said anything. People think our team is dirty because they probably don't realize (or care) that our guys risk injury to a cheap shot every time they stop on the floor.

Dear lord, I don't think I have lost my cool over an internet message board thread before like the 'Dirtiest NBA players' one. It's just a troll bait thread for Celtics/Bulls/NYK/LAL fans to circle jerk around over Wade's dirty plays and use it as an opportunity to bash him. That thread got derailed quickly.

I had to modify my post and my choice of words, so I would not end up getting pulled aside by a mod later. I don't think I am going to visit the GB for a few days. Too many idiots/mentally impaired trolls with an obvious agenda to have a decent debate with.

This, dirty is exaggerating, but like you said his antics could be perceived obnoxious or diva-ish. Then again those who say it occasionally watch heat games, and don`t see the big picture with Wade. No need to pretend he is Tim Duncan or something

lol...Wade kicked another man in the balls and didnt seem apologetic about it either, what do you guys expect? It was a trash thing to do, but hopefully it was accidental.

GB in a nutshell:
Is it before the 2012 NBA Finals?
Yes: LeBron is a choke artist, mentally weak, selfish player, only cares about stats, flopper, will never win a championship, something about Delonte West, needs too much help, is overrated.
No: Wade is dirty, PED abuser, flopper, declining, overrated, only good because of the refs, fake tough guy, soft, complainer, douchebag.
Bonus: Bosh is gay, Bosh is soft, Ray is a traitor, Battier is a flopper, Chalmers is a flopper, Cole is a bust. Heat fans are bandwagoners, no fans in the AAA, Miami's PA Announcer is annoying, all Heat fans are only LeBron fans, the crowd in Miami is quiet.

You forgot the part where Wade is really a bad father who did abuse his wife, had drug-crazed sex parties (which is where the whole PED rumors started anyway with that failed business deal), isn't even a Top 10 player in the league, also that Noah and Chandler > Bosh, then there is a little tid bit here and there sprinkled in about LeBron's hairline :).

I don't really care about Windfag and don't really care what Wade's perception around the league is. Other teams always cry about us receiving all the calls, but at the same time wanna play us hard and physical. Then, when we react to their physical and dirty play by doing so ourselves, we're the dirty ones. The Bobcats were trying to punk us all night yesterday. If they wanna go down this road, they can't be pussies and cry when we fight back.

Regarding Wade's nut kick, one can't really tell if it was intentional or not since Sessions wrapped him up while he was running up the court. Even if it was intentional, I don't give a f*** anymore. Like I said, teams wanna act tough against us and play dirty, they better live with getting something back.

The Heat hate and jealousy is beyond comprehensible in the GB. The lakers,Knicks, bulls, celtics, cavs especially. I agree that Wade is acting like a diva but he is not a dirty player. Whoever said the hate would decrease after we win the chip was bs. They're even more mad and jealous.

The hate hasn't decreased at all. It's just that LeBron shut everybody up in last year's title run so they had to find a new target.

who listens to that no neck monster of a reporter anyway?

•  During a game in Boston in the 2011 regular season, Wade was hit with a flagrant foul for shoving Kevin Garnett after Garnett had leveled Mike Miller with a screen.

I didn't see an article on Garnett trying to take down an injured Miller. Much deserved shove on Garnett.

•  In the 2011 playoffs, Wade got wrapped up with Rondo while going for a loose ball. After Rondo elbowed Wade, he appeared to stick his leg out and sweep Rondo to the court. It resulted in Rondo dislocating his elbow. At the time, Wade said it was inadvertent.

Wade fell back and Rondo was actually pulling Wade, so Wade did the next best thing. Take the Fall but bring Rondo down with him. Rondo is allowed to get away with too many fouls and is annoying, so I don't care about this one. I believed he intentionally wanted to bring Rondo down, but he didn't plan to take out his arm.

•  Wade broke Kobe Bryant’s nose, raking him from behind during an unusual physical play during the 2012 All-Star Game. Bryant had fouled Wade twice previously in the game.

Foul wasn't hard. Media talks about no one plays D in All Star games. Tell that to Kobe Bryant. Since 2009, these two have been going at it on D. Kobe was allowed to foul without any issues. This was done intentionally out of getting now calls, but the dude didn't say let me break his nose. Blown out of porportion.

•  During a regular-season game last April in Miami, Wade threw a forearm at Chicago Bulls guard Rip Hamilton after Hamilton bumped him trying to create space on the perimeter. Wade was called for a flagrant foul.

Rip gave him an elbow to make space. Kobe tried to do the same thing, got an elbow too.

Don't know where you guys are from, but that deserves a smack.

•  During the first round of the playoffs last season, Wade threw the shoe of New York Knicks guard Mike Bibby off the court after Bibby lost it getting a rebound.

Not dirty at all. This is called playing smart. Taking out the a player from the game. There are no rules on this. What about when kidd ran into woodson intentionally and got a Technical because of the rules.

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kquAEihYS0M

•  During the second round of the playoffs, Wade blindsided Indiana Pacers guard Darren Collison on a fast break. Wade, who seemed to be reacting to not getting a shooting foul moments earlier, was assessed a flagrant foul.

Probably the only one I can't defend. Can't defend this one.

Dirty no....Aggressive yes. The nut kick last night, I can't defend either. But does it make Wade a dirty player, hell no.

My only problem is the fact that our 2nd best player is also our enforcer. We need a goon like K-Mart to start dishing out hard fouls.

Did Windbag actually bring up Wade throwing Bibby's shoes? What the hell is dirty about that? Him and Bibby were teammates the year before. I'm sure Wade doing that was payback for Bibby playing like absolute dogsh*t during the 2011 playoffs.

I'm more enraged with the fact that this became an actual article. This could stay with Wade forever.

thats the problem with the Media. They will make a story while trying to destroy a man's image. It's bs.

Agree 100%.

Wade plays with intensity & sometimes let's his emotions get the better of him. Unfortunately some of those reactions are a bit too physical - those usually get a flagrant.

We've got to understand that we have 3 great players who are easy for fans from other teams to either hate (Lebron, Wade) or hate on (Bosh)
