Your Miami Heat

VS
The Dallas Mavericks

The Big 3

Warior Mentality

DAT BACK DOOR CUT

Spo sais :

Even though we're home we need to embrace our ROAD WARRIOR mentality, to hold on to the rope and play INSTINCTUAL, we just have to FIND A WAY, it's our IDENTITY..we have to OWN IT and BE CONSISTENT, we have to show our COMMITMENT on the defensive end and to show it for 48 minutes, you HAVE TO.
ALL ABOARD THE ENERGY BUS :

LET'S GOO!!!

Weird but the Mavericks have not won a game against us after they beat us in the finals, Just like they beat us every year after we beat them in 06. dont know, maybe coincidence.

Haven t watched a Heat game last week so I m looking forward to this one. I hope we can decide the game in our favor at the end of the third quarter so LeBron finally gets some rest. Also I hope Jorts continues to get some playing time.

with our road performances being shaky, we really REALLY need to protect home court this week, starting tonight. I have a feeling we might have a barn burner tonight, should be fun.
GO HEAT.

Fun fact I've heard all day today: the games where we have been outrebounded the worst, we have won all of them. The worst rebounding differential that we've lost to is 3. So, rebounding doesn't really seem to be the problem. The games we've lost are more closely linked to 3pt shooting. PEACE.

you just heard that on Dan Lebatard, i said tht yesterday on the GB. Its no new news to be...but
We still need a center...we still need rebounds. A center that rebounds and defends well will eliminate us needing to sink to help Bosh with interior defense or rebounds. Perimeter guys can actually stay home on shooters instead of running around like a headless chicken.

Yes, this is the problem that it causes.
Funny cause this era is said to be devoid of dominant bigs however there are many serviceable ones out there that would mask A LOT of the Heat's problems.

Game day human interest story, courtesy of Ira...
Pregame note of note: Among those on the Dallas roster is former Florida State forward Bernard James, a former staff sergeant in the Air Force who served six years in the Air Force (2003-08) including three tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and Qatar.
He did not play organized basketball until joining the Air Force in 2003. He finished his career at Florida State ranked second in school history at .627 from the field.
He was selected by Cleveland in the second round (33rd overall pick) of the 2012 NBA Draft, with his draft rights traded to Dallas along with the draft rights to Jared Cunningham (24th overall pick) and Jae Crowder (34th overall selection) in exchange for Kelenna Azubuike and the draft rights to Tyler Zeller (17th overall pick).
He finished third in Florida State history with 164 blocked shots despite playing only two seasons at the school.
