Timofey Mosgov

Post#1 » by benjamakandi » Sun Jan 6, 2013 9:11 pm

Mosgov is a talented 7-footer on the Nuggets whose not getting any playing time behind Koufos and Javale. The Heat need size and rebounding. Mosgov is familiar with the Knicks who the Heat will likely face in the playoffs. The Heat should buy low on this guy.

No team is going to help us get a 7 footer. Our only shot is hoping something decent clears waivers. But nothing will..

Exactly. Everybody knows that we're one defending/rebounding big away from a 65+ win type of team that will win unless it is off its game. With that said, it's disheartening to see so many teams with multiple bigs, any one of whom would help us considerably. Give us one of these guys and prepare for opposing teams to wet their respective and collective shorts.

We have to start drafting our own 7 footers, no matter how raw they are. Just draft the tallest most athletic guy there is and drill that guy into defensive fundamentals.

Well it's the Lakers, and look how it backfired to them. Pretty bad right?

Anyway on topic, I Think Riles will make a move on or before deadline. All i'm worried about is if we manage to get a big, i'm afraid he might rot in the bench and not be utilize like what happened to Ronny.

Yeah I think pat will move for a rebounder. Just so we have the option in games we are getting killed on the glass. I think it will be Mike jj and one of the young guys that aren't Cole going the other way. Lewis will move up in the rotation to mikes spot and well keep it moving.

Question:In the time that he's been on the floor, has he demonstrated that he can grab rebounds?

That's funny, they don't seem to have a problem bending over for the Lakers.

Mosgov would be a tremendous addition for about a dozen teams, and sadly, I think the Nuggest know this. The offer is going to have to be for more than just a song.

Man you guys just won a title and you are whining about how everyone gives stuff to the lakers... seems to be a bunch of old and broken down players over there so I don't get that complaint. You want Mozgov... he is available... provide an expiring and a pick and he's all yours.

You see the problem isn't the Nuggets not wanting you to get a C. The problem is you can't put something on the table coming back that makes sense.

I'm not sure if you guys got an LLE but if you do just go to Europe and buy somebody good out and sign him. They'll be some teams with their hand out for a 600k buyout.

I don't think it would take much more than offering the Sixers pick for him.

He's going to be a RFA this summer, and I can't see them keeping him with Koufous and McGee there long term. He's not bad he just fouls a lot.

I like Mozgov, but I don't think we'd be able to get him before someone else. PEACE.

If I recall the Lakers gave up what was considered to be the 2nd best C when healthy to get Howard. Almost every team won in that trade. Mozgov could probably be easily attained by Miami with the Philly pick but then again Mozgov is seen as a project with good potential so Denver could have better options, especially when it could be the final piece to clear up the very few issues Miami has.

i'd trade mozgov for that philly pick without hesitation. Mozgov is most likely a goner after this season.
