LOL what else can they do? There are only 7 players on our roster with a trade value, which are Bron' Wade, Bosh, Battier, Cole, Chalmers & Allen. The rest of our guys are just scrubs with zero trade value.
Signing varnado for 10 days is not bad, we have the same roster as last year and we were 6th in rebounding, we just need to get back to rebounding class 101.

Varnado is small .. even for a PF hes 6'8 and not great rebounder.

We had Varnado at traning camp...then we cut him so we could keep Jorts..
Now we cut Jorts...so we could bring Varnado back...
What are we even doing...

Varnado was injured, that's why we cut him and kept Jorts. We invited him to training camp twice though, so let's hope the coaching staff sees something in him.

Worthless signing. I doubt we'll ever see him on the floor.

Yeah, I'm not really sure of this move. I'd at least like to see him get a chance though, we have nothing to lose.

Still doesn't make sense. it's not like he was a new face around here, we drafted him, the staff has been following him for 2+ years. If we believed in him, why cut him over a short-term injury? and if they don't believe in him, why bring him back now?

We have no reason to think he'll get more chances then Jorts did...which was 0. But one can hope.

He's 6'10 with a 7'3 wingspan. If he signs with the Heat, he would be only an inch shorter than Bosh with the same reach as Bosh - 7'3
So Varnado would be the second longest player on the Heat. I think he could average 7 rebounds per 36

I think they do see him for defensive purposes as Joel 2.0

He's really not that bad for 10 mins a game, I think the Heat can give him that much.

I always thought D-league numbers had very little correlation to NBA numbers, but lately im starting to think there's just none what so ever.
Unless the guy is a walking triple double in the D-league - you cant assume he's not a toal scrub.
(still hoping Jarvis is the exeption to the rule)
