Highly concern on Lebron's Minutes

Man I don't mind losing a game, but why is he playing so many minutes. For the past 10 games he is averaging 41.3 minutes per game with a 5 win 5 loses record, what's the point of playing so many minutes when they still not playing to their standards. Lebron minutes should come down, they need to play better for 3 quarters so our stars can seat on the 4th and rest. I know that when he is not on the floor things fall apart, but why so many minutes? BTW Wade's minutes in the last 10 games are 32.8 & Bosh minutes are 35.8. There is a huge gap between Bron and the rest.
Before season started they said they will keep lebron minutes in the mid 30's, that is a big problem and should be a high concern for the organization.

He averaged more minutes while he was in Cleveland.
The main problem is how reliant we are on him to do literally everything for us on the floor... Score, facilitate, rebound, play lock-down defense, etc. He does it all and so well the rest of our role players looks like chickens with their heads cut off when LeBron's not on the floor. That's why LeBron never gets more rest.
I'm really concerned about our role players as a whole this season. They're going to be the difference between us repeating or not and right now they're not showing any semblance of consistency.

I've said it in response to the "coasting" claims.
If we're coasting then why is Lebron playing almost 40 mins on the season and 40+ minutes a game lately?
I have no problem resting players and I think we should. But if this is how we do it then we're doing it wrong.

His minutes have been steadily increasing as the season has worn on:
Last 10 games : 41.3 MIN
January : 40.6 MIN
December : 39.1 MIN
November : 37.9 MIN
It's at least something for the coaching staff to consider scaling back on. Especially if he continues to get dinged up in the coming weeks.

LeBron seems to be the only player fully committed to winning during the regular season. He is playing too many minutes since there is no legitimate reason. Heat are not going to have the best record in the NBA and it is hard to imagine how they would not still be the #1 seed. Even if they fell to #2 or #3 it would n't really impact their chances of getting out of the East much. So cut his minutes down to 36-37 and push the others to plat better ( P.S. anybody but Wade can play more minutes)

It's easy to sit here and say "he's playing too much he needs more rest" when looking at his minutes but then we're reminded why he plays so many minutes when the team goes to **** after he goes to the bench.

This^ its a shame.. not even wade can carry a team for a half a quarter anymore

Oh he can, but since he plays much less minutes than LeBron, he rarely ever is on the court without him.

Spo likes to change the lineup at lot, last year Lebron used to sit at the start of the 4th quarter and then came in with 8 or 7 mins left, this year he is playing the entire 3rd and 4th quarter, getting rest only on the second out of the 48 minutes he is playing almost 42 min, only resting for 6 six minutes.
Last year wade used to rest much on the first and second quarter, but played for most of the third quarter and the entire 4th quarter. Also Bosh and Wade used to play at the same time, now I see Bosh by himself or vice-versa.

he has played more mins when he was in cleveland but the thing is he's playing beside two other all-stars, i dont care if wade is injury prone, play him more & after last night i feel like we should feed bosh more, spo and the rest of this heat team have a very awful habit of letting lebron do everything, score, rebound (this is the area where bosh & haslem should be leading this team in) & assists. the offense goes completely blank when lebron is not on the floor and it makes me question, if lebron somehow has a serious injury (which i pray he doesn't) then would this heat team even make it out of the first round? spo really needs to think of stuff like that, hell pat riley & micky need to do the same...

Why are people talking about LeBron's minutes in Cleveland? Are Mike Brown's minute management skills really the standard we're setting here? Mike Brown overplayed his stars in both Cleveland and LA, and now Spo is overplaying LeBron now. Someone needs to tell Spo that not resting him the entire 2nd half, especially when he's been nursing injuries, isn't exactly a good idea.
I don't really care about the regular season too much, but this was one of my main concerns coming into the season. We ask the dude to rebound, make plays, score, and play great defense, you can't ask him to do all that and play 40+ minutes. This isn't a good look, but expect Spo to stick to the spreadsheet.

I think Bron is playing to many minutes and it will wear him down in the long run... Why not trade Anthony and Pittman with a draft pick to the Kings for Tyreke Evans.... He could bring some depth to a old bench, that needs some help keeping a lead...

Why would the kings want Pittman or Joel? Heat dont need another ball dominant player either.

I've said this from time, Spo isn't managing Lebron's minutes properly at all. People keep saying when Lebron is on the bench the heat struggle but forget to mention that Wade and LeBron play together virtually all the time. As Mars has said, LeBron's minutes have steadily increased over the past sum of games which makes no sense as the guy is playing hurt and it's visible to everyone.
Outside of last night we would see Bosh and co struggle to keep leads or go deeper into deficit. Playing Wade at the start of the 2nd like last year makes the offense look a lot better. One of LeBron or Wade can be on the floor at all times if Spo knew how to manage properly.

A foolish position to take, considering his age, mileage and nagging injuries. Fatigue and nagging injuries both clearly contributed to his poor play the last two games (wasn't moving like himself on the court), and we saw him wear down in the playoffs two years ago (whether physically or mentally, it doesn't matter).
And Lol @ the people saying he was fine with this minute load in Cleveland, have you forgotten that he's not 22 anymore? Dude's 28 in his 10th NBA season, he's not young for an NBA player.
Spo absolutely should lower Lebron's minutes, if they're struggling to win with Lebron playing 36 minutes a game, they've got some serious issues they need to work on if they have any hope of winning the title.

I just love that fact that while i keep hearing we're just "coasting" we're also at the sime playing LBJ very big minutes. if we dont really care about the regular season, why not rest him more? if we dont care, why not throw the young guys out there..maybe the'll suprise us? it just doesn't make sense.

The only people saying "coasting" are posters, not the players themselves

We are coasting. Lebron isn't playing 40 playoffs minutes. You know when lebron is really playing because they have to carry him off the floor at the end.
I wonder if lebrons minutes are up so his knee stays loose? Or if the plan is to scale back his minutes after the all star break while playing wade more to get him ready for the playoffs.
Could also be us protecting miller and battier a bit. Bee need those two for the playoffs.
But yeah lebron's minutes are the only thing about this team that worries me.

I agree, I think he should lower them. My point was that I'm not concerned with the situation, I fully expect his minutes to decrease in the future.
