Bosh tonight. Proved he belongs.

Post#1 » by DieHardBallFan » Mon Jan 28, 2013 3:42 am

The Bosh hate and trade talks are just unwarranted to me.

Lets be real. I cannot think of another 5 we could replace Bosh with tonight that would of done a better or even as good of job.

He was constantly moving on every single play. Covered every single pick and roll. Helped on every defensive play. Did not force a single shot unless the shot clock was down and the ball ended up in his hands. Late in the 4th and OT's he could of forced up bad shots but continued to get his teammates involved, talk on defense and push the right play knowing it is what would help the team. Other then Lebron was clearly the one with the most gas by the end of the game showing his durability. Many clutch rebounds and defensive plays to keep the team in the game.

The most scrutinized part of his game? Ended up with 16 boards 5 offensive. Finished 16/16/1 on 58%. Only taking 12 shots. You cannot ask for more from a THIRD option who has 0 plays ran for him on a championship team.

Let the thread drop or whatever just felt like I needed to say this.

The only thing Bosh proved tonight is that he should have taken all 20 of Wade's shots.

I'm joking, Bosh proved his damn "worth" a while ago in the Finals... but yes he had quite the impact tonight, although he was vastly underused. 16 rebounds, a couple of which that were huge on the offensive glass in the 4th/OT. Not sure why Bosh is thrown under the bus in trade talks so frequently... but he has to continue this type of play and also become more aggressive in looking for his own scoring. Boston is a poor rebounding team, but it doesnt take away from Bosh's effort. I'd like to see him bring this sort of aggression against teams that DO kill on the board as well.

Bosh is big time, we jus need the big 3 clickin at the same time

its amazing how lebron can play at a high level night in night out. Wade though, another story. Sometimes i have no idea what hes thinking on the court.

one of my concerns with lebron always handlong the ball. he has to recognize when bosh is on or at least give him the **** the ball every once in a while. Bosh had 1 shot attempt in both ot's. wade had 7. rediculous.

Bosh has always belonged.. He's just inconsistent in terms of energy.. He brings it when it's actually important..

Our PGs though.. That's a different story.. There is no one I hate more that Chalmers on our team.. Just so so so so so so BAD..

Wade was handling the ball mostly in ot. Lebron would love to pass to Bosh I'm sure but he can be clumsy in the clutch and entry passes are tough against good defense

Bosh played with some balls..which is all I want him to play with. 16 rebounds is great.

However he was still shut down by KG BIG time just like Wade got shut down hardcore by Bradley. Those guys couldn't create for **** with those guys guarding them. If LeBron wasn't making MVP type plays for us, it was just **** pathetic.

Could we give Bosh the **** ball once in a while? I swear before the game Wade and Lebron made a point of emphasis not to give him the ball unless he was wide open under the hoop. Reward the big man for even keeping us in the game with his offensive rebounding.

This +100!

We don't need a facilitating PG 90% of the time, but that last 10% can be a killer. When 2 of the 3 are being shut down & the other (usually Bron) is doing it all, having a PG who could step up & run the show for 5-10 minutes under pressure would be huge. Someone like Kidd would be perfect in this role for us off the bench, it would allow LBJ/Wade to be pure score-first threats for 10-15 mpg.

Another thing, this team needs to use a lore more pick and roll, either bron-wade, or bron-bosh or wade-bosh. use it!

I am not a troll!

Ive been a heat fan Since the eddie jones days. I value the team. Not necessarily the Players.

You cant tell me that Kevin Love wouldnt fit this team better than Bosh.

You can´t tell me that Kevin Durant wouldn´t fit this team better than Wade.

Besides LeBron, he's the hardest working player on the team. Every play, night in night out, never quits.

Boxing out, blowing up pick and rolls, setting picks, opening up driving lanes, protecting the rim.

Dude consistently brings it, but he is hardly the second hardest working player. Haslem, Battier, Joel and Allen all outwork him.

Eh they don't play enough minutes for me to consider them a harder worker.
