Many people on this board already noticed the discrepancy between the team s home performances and away performances. And came to the conclusion that our shooters are underachieving on the road.
I checked the stats from 3 point land:
Ray Allen: 23 Home Games played 45-90 50%
22 Away Games played 30-89 34%
Shane Battier: 22 Home Games played 40-102 39%
19 Away Games played 30-76 39%
Mario Chalmers: 24 Home Games played 34-84 40%
23 Away Games played 31-78 40%
Rashard Lewis: 11 Home Games played 10-28 36%
17 Away Games played 17-34 50%
Mike Miller: 22 Home Games played 17-42 40%
17 Away Games played 20-56 36%
So as you can see that theory is only true for Ray Allen. His 3Pt Fg% is dramaticaly much worse on the road. For the other guys the shooting percentage is pretty much the same

Facts aren't really welcome here.
Your emotions fuel the narratives that you create. You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. You ascribe meaning when it is not there. You create significance when it is not present.
