If we kept Temple & cut Pitt before we guaranteed him (since he showed nothing in summer ball), we coulda had the 3 pg's, developed Temple more during the year, this putting us in a better position to decline Chalmers' 4M option at the end of the year if we wanted to. Plus, if we end up finding a taker for JA with the Sixer's pick for a future 1st, & amnesty MM, I don't know how much space that frees up with the payroll increasing next year, but it should allow some space. I'm not saying declining Rio is the way to go, but with NoCo & Temple as the 2nd & 3rd, both improving, you could decide if you want to gamble on keeping Rio or at least not having only the min to offer a pg in the summer.
