Theres another thread about trades and transactions but I feel this thread deserves a thread on it's own because this last player cannot be traded or acquired through other teams. He must be a former NBA employee (from my knowledge).

So lets' get a list of who we can get/ possible players

1. Allen Iverson
2. Derick Fisher
3. Oden
4.

Me personally (and call me crazy), is Allen Iverson and heres why.

1. Stephen A. Smith said the kid can still ball. I agree with this. As a bench player he would give the heat that exciting player that would be instrumental for our team. I also feel with LeBron and Wade (and even Bosh) it is possible to mature him into making sacrfises. Remember wade, bosh and LeBron all made sacrifses (money, ego, stats, fame, etc). Iverson does want a ring, so coming to south beach would be amazing. I know he won't be putting up 30 points a night but if he can atleast give us 15-20 points off the bench it would be amazing + draw fouls. I think he could be an exicting addition. + It gives him a chance to end his career on top. I know a lot of you may think I am crazy for saying this or even mentioning Iverson's name in the Miami heat discussion but he does deserve a chance. Also it would be fun to see (any old school fans can vouch for this) to see AI back on the court with cornrolls and gangsta swag, instead of all this prepy look.

2. Fisher... meh... he would be good but hes a bit washed up

3. Oden.. injured but can be good next season as for a big. We do need a big and I think we need to invest in a future big cause bigs won't come easily to Miami (luxuary tax, 2 expensive, who wants to help miami)

We don't need anybody on PG/SG/SF let alone team cancer like AI3. If anything i would sign someone from those guys:
1) Oden
2) Amudson

And that's it.

I mean, let them be healthy come playoffs time and i don't think we gonna need anybody else.

So what your saying is we need either a Center or Power Foward (4 or a 5). Hmm. Yeah we do need a legit center. The Heat would be unstoppable with a legit center. Anyone know what the update on Oden is? Last I heard he wanted to goto CAVS for more money, but they have no signed him.

I don't even know who Amudson is.

P.S: Stephen A. Smith said Iverson is still good. He might be cancerous but I think Stephen A. knows what hes talking about.

Amudson is a good rebounder and a tough defender, could be used as a shorter Birdman.
Oden is a option if he really wants to join a team now so he could work towards being ready next year.
Also players can be waived until March and be eligible for the playoffs. Maybe we get lucky and Mozgov or some other big gets cut.
