We might face the Hawks in the first round, dont give them any hope. Crush them good.
19 is coming.

I'm torn...On one end, I want to see us continue the streak and another, I hope to give these guys some rest before the season ends. But i also don't want to lose what we have but I also fear we are going to burn out at some point.

Gotta find ways to win and keep the Big 3's minutes down to early 30s. CB and Wade are already at that mark. Time to slowly reduce LeBron's minutes.

The Bucks will kill us and then we get our vengeance back here at home. That's what I'm sensing. Not only will this take a physical toll but a toll against us if we continue in a mentality way. This streak is very special although we all understand the championship is much more than the streak.

I don't think we'll push any harder than we have to just to keep some streak alive. We have bigger goals than winning regular season awards. Sure, it's nice to write history, but ultimately nothing ranks higher than a championship.

I feel the same way. I definitely don't want to see any of our player burn out because after that 60% fg streak LeBron was on he's somewhat slowing down and we all know how Wade was limping into the playoffs last year and of course Bosh went down against Indiana. This streak is fun and all but we're going to have to look at the big picture and that's the playoffs...

LBJ's averaging the 2nd or 3rd fewest minutes of his career and we're not even peaking.....plus I do think Spo's done a good job at managing minutes, limiting practice sessions, and understanding what the big picture is. Did he not rest LBJ for the final 8 minutes against Philadelphia at home? Trust me, he's just as aware of the big picture as we all are. Today though, it was a little personal against a team that kicked our *** twice.

Yeah exactly, to be honest just pass the 22+ game mark and beat the 2nd highest streak and if they do that then they can do whatever they want after, I ain't got no complaints! Not that I will either way but that is easily possible now after beating Indiana.

The HEAT have had their way with ATL twice this season so this is potentially another win, but would be nice if it doesn't come down to the wire.

I don't see any point in trying to relate the streak to what happens after it. But I know that's exactly what people will do. If we keep it going and then dominate the playoffs to a championship, "That streak springboarded them towards the playoffs!" If we lose to Atlanta, but win it all, "they were able to relax after the streak ended and got everyone rest!" blah blah...
If we don't win it all and we keep the streak going, "they pushed themselves too hard!" If we don't win it all and the streak ends, "They should have kept going, they peaked too early!"
Just let it happen and be happy its happening, stop trying to make a narrative where there is none.
Let's not suck.

I worry about body break down. LeBron/Wade/Bosh have done alot this year, if we can rest them, I would try too.

Again, I see no correlation between the winning streak and resting our guys. I mean, are you advocating sitting out our players and giving up home court potentially to San Antonio or OKC in the Finals? I'd much rather they get more time off in practice than miss games that count, as both build up fatigue but one of them doesn't count.
Its like some people are never satisfied, win 18 straight, "Oh no the players need more rest". Just enjoy the season for once...

Man our fans are so conservative. When we get a lot of success everyone's like chill chill chill lol I understand though. Scared of injuries, only playoffs matter
