I believe his 2013 season to be better than his 2009 season. Nobody can deny 2013 is the smartest LeBron we've ever seen.

His 2012 season was better than his 2009 season.

And his 2013 will go down as the best season in NBA history. Or at least top 3

Good article about the streak by Simmons too.

For everybody here who hates Simmons, you should read it. As a Celtics fan, he doesn't like our team but respects it and that's all you can ask for. Reminds me of when I talk to my buddies who are fans of opposing teams, they don't have to like the Heat but give credit where credit is due. The reason so many opposing fans are intolerable on here is because they refuse to do even that.

He's been better so far this year than ever before, but no way was his 2012 as good as his '09 season.

Great article, really breaks down the changes in Lebron's game, and it shows how knowledgeable he is about basketball, and his own game. Interesting that he mentioned the midrange game being his "next journey", though I'd hope he uses it as little as possible. It's the worst shot in basketball, something he was quoted as saying in that article.

It is, but I do think its important for every star player to be able to hit it with consistency, because against good defenses in the playoffs that is the shot they will give you. If you're money from midrange, you open everything up for yourself however.

When defenses tightened up in the playoffs, that's where Wade and Jordan used to do their big damage. LeBron has the post, and that's a start, but the midrange is just such an amazing fallback option. You still would rather see them move the ball for a better shot, but at the same time, you want your star player to be able to hit from anywhere on the court.

Also, I saw a lot of improvement in LeBron's midrange game in 10-11, so he's already getting there. He has a nice jumper, he just has to get a bit better at knowing when to pull back his dribble and fire.
