I would say 2-4 games before the playoffs. Right now, I want them rested and keeping there minds of the game. I would try and find a way to give Bosh a few games off.

Bosh should just play this whole week and then sit out the week before the post season. (Same with Allen)

Second week, give Wade a game or two and so with James/Rio.

As long as the Bucks stick to that 8th seed it doesn't matter how long they rest, it will be a warm up first round, hell shut down Bosh and Allen too. But soon as Boston slips to the last seed then we might need to play our guys get those legs warmed up before the playoffs. Boston always switches to another gear against us.

If BKN and ATL finish 4-5 seeds and MIL at 8 they can sit out until the last week of the regular season.

They'll come back with about 5 games left as a tune up, play 4 and sit out the last game

With Bucks loss tonight they are pretty much locked into the 8th seed.

If we get a bracket of Bucks, BKN, and ATL the GB is going to lose it's ****. Would only have to play one of Indiana, Chicago, Boston, New York to get to the finals--and it would be after they all beat each other up. Fingers crossed.

Would love to get Brooklyn in the second round.

I'm not a fan of sitting them out for extended periods. Just let one of them play at all times, which allows the other two enough rest in between games without losing their rhythm. If you look at it, that'd still be a lot of rest:

April 5th @ Charlotte: Wade
April 6th vs. Philly: James
April 9th vs. Milwaukee: Bosh
April 10th @ Washington: Wade
April 12th vs. Boston: James
April 14th vs. Chicago: Wade
April 15th @ Cleveland: Bosh
April 17th vs. Orlando: James

This would give Wade and James three games each, while Wade would have a slightly longer break before the playoffs and Bosh would only participate in two games over the next two weeks. During those games, you can also throw in JJ and Miller for extended minutes and even given Varnado a chance if you wanna rest others such as Allen, Cole, Battier or UD.

That has been lined up for 2-3 weeks now. Would be pretty incredible if it ends up playing out like that. Everyone will be jumping up and down saying we have had the easiest road to the finals since the 07 Cavs.

I would play LeBron & Wade staring Saturday against Philadelphia all the way up to the last two games of the regular season were I would rest the big 3 for those games against the Cavaliers & Magic. This would give them 6 days of rest before the playoffs start on the 21st...

Rest is cool and all especially for Wade but these guys do not need to be out of rhythm when the post-season starts. Especially if we somehow play Boston in the first round. Milwaukee has no chance in hell at beating us but they still do somehow play us tight in all of the games we played this season so everybody on this Heat team need to be in rhythm regardless...

Wade should sit out the rest of the season.

Lebron should alternate with Bosh, allen battier.

And why should Wade sit out the rest of the season? I'm just curious since you threw that in there without any explanation.

this is what i had hoped for a couple of weeks ago this exact situation. ideally youd like lebron/wade to get the most rest. bosh is averaging career low in minutes this year but id give him the reigns for a couple of more games to get his mojo going.

id sit wade/lebron for charlotte and philly and milwaukee. id play Bosh Charlotte but give him the game against philly and milwaukee off and let chalmers lead the team against them.

next id bring the big 3 back in to play against boston/chicago and cleveland with alternating rest for battier/allen/haslem/cole/chalmers.

imo big 3 should not play more than 20-25 minutes in these 3 games.

for the last game against ORL. wade/lebron/bosh/allen/battier out.

we'd bulldoze through the playoffs like this

As long as Bron and DWade can get some reps in our last few games of the season then I'm content with what Spo is doing. Giving Bosh the reigns and increasing everyone's involvement/responsibility w/o having to rely on Bron and DWade will do wonders for our team down the stretch.

Probably because he has a real issue with his knee, and not "just resting." Same with Mario. Lebron can probably play sparingly, the hamstring strain seems bogus. Allen probably needs to sit too.

I'd rather have a healthy roster going into the playoffs than play extra minutes because of worry about being "ready" for the Bucks.

Hmm well ok. If they are sitting out games against the Bobcats I don't really see why'd they'd come back to face a physical team like CHI or BOS.
