Our two (arguably) most hated rivals will be squaring off in what looks to be a very heated first round match up. Which of the two would you rather see advance and why?

Personally I'll be rooting for the Celtics because I'd find it absolutely hilarious if the Knicks still couldn't get out of the first round after all of the crap their fans have been talking for the past season. Plus with Rondo out the Knicks really wouldn't have any excuses for losing this time. Should be a great series regardless of who wins.

I would love to see the knicks lose in the first round again!

Not to mention after what happened in boston, the city deserves something to rally around.

First things first, boston needs to win one of the first 2 games in NY, preferably the first game so knicks fans start freaking out lol

PP game winner in game 7 at the garden would be epic.

Celtics, I hate the Knicks more than any other team in the NBA. It bodes from JR Smith and Carmelo Anthony. If those two weren't on the team, I would probably root for the Knicks.

Pretty much, more so anything I actually hate, okay DISLIKE... the Celtics "Roster" A lot more then the Knicks... but the fact their fan base are annoying flies makes me cheer for the C's.

Yep

Celtics has its fair share of obnoxious fans, but that is nowhere near the sheer number of delusional Knick fans.

Its Basically a Win-Win situation here, but I'm leaning toward the Celtics to see the Knick fail in 1st round again (imagine a sweep )

First and foremost, I'll be rooting for long, physically demanding and emotionally draining series

Secondly, I'll be rooting for the Celtics to win that series.

Seems like some of you are using the "lol first round exit" factor for picking the Celtics but I see you just wanting your toughest matchup to fail so you won't be stressed later. Try and dodge the Knicks if you like but you can't stop what's meant to happen. Head on Collision! I would respect heat fans more if they wanted us to win just to take us out yourselves. I tried reading whatever you just posted, but that sig is pretty distracting, so I'll proceed to look at it a bit more.

I would welcome the Knicks with open arms in the ECF. I know the Heat would win that series rather easily. I'm guessing the series would go to 5, 6 max. I'm just rooting against the Knicks because I hate your players and I enjoy watching them fail and lose.

The only East team that is a true threat to the Heat is the Bulls at full health, so pretty much no team is a threat to the Heat.

Originally I didn't care who won, and it isn't because of the Boston bombings, but I will root for the Celtics in 7 games. Knicks fans (well not ALL of them) can go eat dirt. Everytime they win, they troll on the opposing team's board HARD. They are more obnoxious than Bulls and Celtics fans combined.


I just don't know if the Celtics are healthy enough, it's their worse year in terms of health this year I feel, another year older. If Celtics steal a game though in NY, they can do it.

Also if Terry sticks his head out of his ass and actually does something, they have a shot.

I'm not going to lie. We do go too hard after a win a lot. I cringe with embarrassment when I see my fellow Knick fans going overboard. I'm just messing with y'all but I still do find it funny that you wouldn't want to face the Knicks. Very telling

No one on this board said that "We don't want to face you" ... We just simply don't bring it up because we think realistically.

That was then...we havn't had enough playoff battles recently for them to be a hated rival. Not like with Boston.

I also never said I wouldn't want to face the Knicks, I'd love a Knicks-Heat ECF. Especially with all the crap you guys say during the regular season. But DAAAMN would it be funny to see you guys out in the 1st round, that's all I'm saying, given you haven't gotten out of the 1st round in a long time.

Yeah more so Boston rivalry is bigger now, but knicks are still a rivalry nonetheless even though they were irrelevant for nearly a decade.

Someone's getting ahead of themselves... Nobody is afraid of the Knicks. The Heat will steamroll any team that meets them in the ECF whether it's the Knicks, Pacers, Celtics, etc. I highly doubt Knicks fans will be rooting for the Heat to advance against the Bucks either.

Has nothing to do with being afraid of the Knicks. Our fan bases just don't like each other that's all.
