Dwyane Wade's divorce settlement

Apparently, Siohvaugh gets $10,000 per month for traveling expenses, $25,000 per month for living expenses, and a $1 million lump sum at the start of the divorce. She didn't do to bad for herself.

Wtf, I can understand the 1 million dollar lump sum but 35k per MONTH really? How long would he have to pay her for... life?

As long as he gets his kids, I think he can live with it. Always felt that that was by far more important to him than paying her money, which was basically inevitable anyways.

10k for travelling? Wtf
35k per month for living?

And she's doing nothing. Basically its because her ex is famous. Isn't she crazy too? Why should she deserve those ridiculous amounts per month?

I suppose D-Wade settled for it to make sure he'd get the kids. I can understand the money for traveling (she probably flies out to Miami to pick them up), but the $25,000 for living costs is something I can't understand since she doesn't even have the kids.

EDIT: And yes, she has some sort of mental illness, but from what Wade says in his book, her mother helped him a ton growing up, so he probably still wants to take care of Siouhvaughn in some sense.

Awful. She's been slandering him for awhile now, been **** crazy and she still gets all this money? Imagine if she acted normally.

I would assume it's till the kids reach 18. But that would be nuts if it was for life.

This **** pisses me off. Us guys, are totally **** when it comes to divorce. Bitch didn't do anything to deserve that money. We really need to revamp that law. It's been LONG overdue, I mean decades, maybe even a century overdue. Come the **** on, does any other country have the male get hit this hard after a divorce?

Nah, your thinking about child support, but she doesnt have custody. This is alimony. Wade will have to pay her for the the rest of his life. That number will go down when he stops making 10+ mil a year

Man that bish doesn't deserve all that money. All guys get a prenup...

Wade's lowest point in his life was actually marrying her. I know he has kids by her and all but I mean damn, that bish is ugly af. I'm so glad he's with Gabrielle Union now...

Wtf? When you think about it, Wade is paying her ~50,000 a month for being too crazy to stay married to. Plus the lump sum. Nobody needs that much money, for something they have no involvement in. The system's broken

Remember watching draft night that year? When the tv showed her, I knew it wasn't going to last. Wade doesn't want his sons to think their mother lives in poverty. It doesn't matter much to them now, but it will in time.
