Not a travel. You are allowed two steps after picking up the ball. How is this a travel.
UPDATE : Steve Javie on ESPN saying it was not a travel. So did Stu Jackson.

He hesitated which made the move look even worse. The left leg took awhile to get back. Otherwise it would have a good ole fashion step back.

That called a step back. Not a travel
Also, if wade had any brains, he would've jumped into george to draw a foul. smh

out of all the time he jumps into players when they go up, youd think in a close game when you need points, hed do the same. He's my fav player and he was one of the bet in the NBA but he just looks so carefree and bored out there and seems to have no iq

Wade could have put up the 3 and get fouled, and who knows maybe he'll even hit it liked he did against Rose. But he didn't.

Well even if he drew the foul part of me says Wade will miss 2 out of 3 FT's anyways.

He is my favorite player too. The injury must be affecting him bad...not to mention after 10 years he still has no jumper. He really turned into a diva.

Wade didn't go into PG because he would have fouled out at that point. We would have also yelled at Wade for not even shooting but trying to draw a foul AND shooting a 3 when Battier was open.
Basically lose lose situation there.
Man Wade at the end of games has been bad to watch lately. We could be down 3-1 if LeBron didn't save the day...

As a Heat hater, I can affirm that this doesn't look like a travel.

He kinda carried the ball back slowly so it looks like a travel to me. Either way turnovers from Wade in the clutch is something I'm used to now. This isn't 5 years ago.
Bosh is actually our most clutch player after Lebron but of course we go to Wade. Mr. WoW another turnover.

Thats not a carry bro because hes pulling it back for a jump shot. He didnt dribble again. Only if you dribble again after you discontinued a dribble is called a carry.

Guys, I'm afraid this actually is a travel.
Here you can see clearly that he picks up the ball when his right foot is still on the ground, making right his pivot foot. Then he steps back with his left foot (like in a layup - right foot, left foot) and then
brings his right foot back to the ground. Had he shot or passed the ball while his right foot was still in the air (like in a layup) that wouldn't been a travel, but now it is. You know, when you make a regular right handed layup - right foot, left foot - you must get rid of the ball before your right leg touches the floor again.
The more I watch this, the more clearly this is a travel.

Whether it was or not , it was called a travel.
Let's move on guys.
Refs cannot be perfect, they messed up on a few calls but they weren't cheating.
time to win G5 at home and finish the Pacers off in 6.
Don't be like other teams supporters and whinge about the refs.
And wasn't Kerr so anti-heat again. He was already blaming a pacer loss on the 24 sec mistake. Man up Kerr or just F. Off;

If the foot that is on the ground during the gather is counted as the first step, there would be a travel called on 95% (give or take) of plays.
Like in a layup, basically every time, players have one foot on the ground as they pick up the ball and
then take two more steps.

It's what makes any argument so funny.
Almost every basket attacking play in the NBA would be classed as a travel if they were strict.

The one time Wade doesn't jump into the guy after a pump fake SMH. Probably was afraid to shoot the free throws because he's basically become Shaq at the free throw line. Especially in the clutch.
You think about it though. We were within 4 with the ball on that Lebron foul out. And then on that play again--down 4 with the ball. If either play we had scored the ball instead of turning it over--the final minute would have been completely different.
The officials ruined what could have been a compelling finish. Even if we hadn't won it--it would have forced Indiana to make some more plays to win it--which would have been good for the casual fan.
IMO whether you agree with the calls or not, the problem was the officials didn't let the players decide the game last night. It was about Joey Crawford, not the the Pacers-Heat.
Incidentally Crawford did basically the same thing to Chris Paul like three weeks ago when he tossed him against Memphis while the Clippers were trying to come back. He's such a **** douchebag. NBA fans really need to start a campaign to get him fired because everyone knows he is a bad official--but nobody does anything. He has ruined the NBA product for years.
