Do you resent LeBron, ever so slightly?
Let me start by saying what I believe...
1. The Bulls are Regular Season Champions
2. They always go into the playoffs injured because of how hard they play in the Regular Season
3. Lebron is one of these as well. 2009 66 wins in Cleavland. 2010 61 wins in Cleavland.
Now that I have said this I think you all know where I am going. Do you think Wade broke down late in the season because LeBron pushed this team too hard during the Regular Season (27 wins). I feel that Wade wanted to prove to the Locker room that he could play at a high level for months on end and becoming regular season champs cost Wade in the long run. You guys say that Wade likes to coast for long stretches of the season. But is it really coasting? I think Wade knows his body better than most and was just preserving himself for what really mater most.
The Pacers NEVER put this much energy, concentration and effort into ANY of their regular season games. Do you resent LeBron for his Regular Season mentality?

I don't even think this team pushed itself as hard as any of those Bulls teams. So no, I don't. And blaming the mentality on LeBron is ridiculous imo.

What a garbage ass thread. These guys get played to play the game. If I was starting a team, give me 5 LeBrons who are going to play hard everynight. Mods lock this up

Why are you blaming LeBron?
Coach Spo should have managed Wade's minutes. We have perfectly capable guys on the bench to play.
Popovich manages his old stars minutes perfectly, and it helps them in the playoffs. Spo never did that this season, but believe me, he will do it next season. It will be talked about and he will rest his guys more.

So you honestly don't think Lebron pushed this team to go on that streak? Get down by 20 and then comeback furiously to pull it out. You don't think that is doing a little too much for a win against some bottom feeder in March? For the record I want Miami to win tonight, but I don't know where else the Regular Season champion mentality could have come from, other than from Lebron?

Re: Do you resent LeBron, ever so slightly?
WHAT? Have you watched the games? The amount of wins we have isn't because of LeBron solely. Yes he played well, but so did our roleplayers, SO DID WADE AT ONE POINT, SO DID BOSH, EVERYBODY. LeBron just played his game, so many times we've blown out teams. Wade and Bosh, even LeBron himself during the regular season had low minutes compared to other seasons. This team didn't expend more energy than they usually do... give me a break.
You do realize Wade broke down last year too? He played better last year, needed surgery in the offseason. This dude needs surgery again. You know what's funny? The past 3 years he has had the load of this team OFF of his shoulders, it has all been on LeBron. So Wade's injuries don't correlate at all with the fact that this team has been playing more harder. HE doesn't even have to play as hard as he did back in the day when it was just him and a bunch of scrubs.
Come on dude this is a terrible thread. If anything you would have to blame Spo for managing minutes, but that wasn't even needed, we had a good season particularly because of our bench too...
I'm not **** resent LeBron, he brought life back to this franchise and we are in the golden era of Miami Heat basketball for now. ENJOY IT.

Relax, I mean no harm by it. But I know for a FACT that those Cleavland teams overachieved in 09' and 10'. It's not out of this world to think that LeBron brought that mentality down to Miami.
I am going be honest with you. If you factor in the amount of games a "Normal" team will mail it in during the Regular Season and combine that with the fact that every other team in the NBA brings their 'A' game against the Heat. This team should have won 50 -55 games this year. And you know I'm not lying either.

Did you watch this team? Miami clearly didn't bring their A-game on so many nights and simply won on pure talent. They basically won half of the games in their 27-win streak by "kicking it into gear" in the fourth quarter or second half.

I just don't think you are being honest with yourself if you think that teams weren't playing extra hard to break the streak. Don't you member the Boston game? Jeff Green was playing like it was a contract year/his life was on the line. In order to beat all of those teams, Miami had to MATCH the oppositions energy level.
You claim that you are fans, but you never want to sympathize. Bosh said "We wanna chill" and you guys killed him for it. Why? I say, go ahead and chill all you want, as long as the chilling comes to an end around April. Leave the hustling during meaningless games to the Bulls.

What....
WTF
Is the Heat the Lakers now?
I guess Wade just needs to sit out half a season because the excuses for his crap is annoying and if he got what he wanted...which is to do nothing for half a season...then maybe nobody will make excuses for him. Let him play 40 games a year, I am done with him. Let him just show up to games in fancy ass clothes and sit on the bench.
That way Bosh can be the second option and have plays run for him so he cannot play like a sissy.
Then the Heat can get rid of Spo and let Lebron be the coach because the Lebron is the only guy that on the team that can motivate these bums to play like they give a damn and he is the only guy that can "coast" and still put up 25 6 and 7 because he is that much better than everybody else.
This team has no excuse for playing like ass...this team always coast and get beat by teams like Timberwolves or the damn Suns or whatever in the regular season.
This team is probably the least hardplaying superteam ever.
IBTL
Pop got young players that can carry the team, the Heat don't, they have a bunch of geriatrics that just spot up shoot.
And Wade played 33 mins last year and 35 this year. Bosh played 33 mins a game. Lebron played 38 this year.
It's not like Wade and Bosh are logging 38 mins a game anymore...each year their mins go down. Lebron is the only one that playing mins like he is still a lone superstar.
Parker logged in 32 mins this year and Duncan 30.
Get young players that can do stuff besides stand in the corner maybe Lebron can sit down on the bench and look like Duncan does.

Maybe you missed my point earlier but when comparing minutes for Heat players and the rest of the league it is not Apples to Apples. Bum scrubs in Minnesota are going to play like it is Game 7 of the NBA finals when the Heat come to town. The very next day Minnesota will sleep walk through a Sunday afternoon game against the Wizards. Do you honestly think John Wall's 35 minutes is equivalent to Wade's 35 minutes against the T-Wovles?

I love Lebron because he plays hard and goes all out each and every night. Why the **** would I resent him for that? More players should do what he does if anything.
Jordan was someone that went all out in both the regular and post-season too. It has never coast his team anything. It is just that he had one of the best coaches of all-time in Phil Jackson and he had durable teammates.
Wade is simply made of glass. He coasts and sits out multiple games and still gets hurt regardless.

Wade rested a whole lot. And he didn't play that many minutes. SPO had his minutes mad low and I don't recall wade being part of helping us come back from down 20 whatever in Cleveland

Re: Do you resent LeBron, ever so slightly?
I never said other teams didn't play hard against us, they sure did. We got everyone's best shot. I actually feel like it would ready us more down the road.
The Pacers series has nothing to do with our energy being exempted though, we are just outmatched in the frontcourt and that's where their damage is done. I mean we were 8-1 in the playoffs coming into this series, if we win we will be 12-4...
Our team would coast and then turn it on in a given quarter to either come back or blow a team out. They never played hard for all 48 minutes. This team has a very lazy side lol. Also when the season was ending, especially when our streak ended, every main guy was getting rest. LeBron got some rest, Wade got a LOT of rest this season but he's just injured, Bosh got his, even UD and Shane got some rest at the end of the season. This team has gotten the most rest they've ever had this season... yeah there were select games where we fought hard, but that's being competitive is it not? They are millionaires man, they do this for a living. They always knew the postseason is where it mattered, and we were looking good until we met our match. The Pacers defense has to be given some credit, they have taken our team out of sync.
I mean Bosh all year has had a low rebound total, that has nothing to do with the Heat playing "harder". Heck Bosh all year has sucked against the Pacers, even having to CHANGE HIS GAME... is that LeBron's fault? **** no. This whole Pacers series is about our defense and offense sucking, we looked damn good when we peaked.

Yeah, Wade played 5 games between March 23 and April 21 (the start of the playoffs). 5 games in a month. He had all the time in the world to recover.

Yes of course we resent Lebron for playing hard.
