Bosh: "I'm not going to get ... 20 and 10 with this team."

I have no idea when exactly Bosh said this but ...

Because James was already considered the world's best player and Wade had been a Finals MVP, Bosh was considered the third guy in the Big 3.

"I just let it go," Bosh said of the criticism. "That's the only thing I can do, because I'm not going to get 30 and 15, or 20 and 10, with this team. Sometimes you have to sacrifice the glory."

It looks like 14 & 8 is now out of the question too. There seems to be no end (or bottom) to Chris Bosh's sacrifice.

I'm sorry but he has to go.

We can get a decent Center for about 8-9mil of that 17mil contract Bosh has.

I am not quite yet ready to give up on Bosh and don't prefer Howard or Hibbert over him, either.

It's not him it's the $ invested in Miller/Haslem/Anthony where we're not getting bang for buck.

All 3 have shown flashes of why they were signed for that amount, but nothing like consistency. Now it's taken it's toll on others, like Battier.

Well 20/10 is a abit of a reach for a 3rd option.

17-18ppg and 7-8 rebounds SHOULD be him though - anything under that is performing low.

Hey Bosh. You need to stop listening to Spoelstra and sticking to the game plan and you need to "man up" and do what internet forum posters want you to do! smh

The problem with him is obvious: He's a great player, but we can't utilize his skillset other than his great jump shot. Bosh could do a lot more on a different team with a different role and we could pick up somebody on a lower salary to do Bosh's job on our team.

I would agree but when given the chance last game to start the 4th with no other stars, he deferred to everyone on the court. When P&R is run, he is taking the extra few steps to get behind the arc instead of around 18-20 ft where his pretty automatic and it allows him to pump fake and attack. Bosh is regressing and everything that he says is telling me of the BIG 3, the first to go is Bosh.

Hibbert I'd pass on (not even like he's an option) but if the Lakers called up this summer wanting to deal Howard for Bosh I'd do it in a minute

Spoelstra is a sly one ... telling Bosh not to rebound.

I have a quick question for heat fans...you want bosh to have more interior presence, rebound the ball more, and also to stop taking as many threes. At the same time, you want him spreading the floor, leaving the paint open for lebron, and also to take to opposing teams center out to the perimeter.

I think with anyother center in the league not named KG or Duncan wouldnt work in miami. Your whole game plan is predicated on Bosh spreading the floor. If he stays downlow, thats 2 more bodys for james to get around (counting the opposing center as well). He is doing his job, yet he is vilified. I dont get it? Maybe I dont watch the heat enough but it seems to me he is doing exactly what he is supposed to.

The long 2>the three pointer for Bosh. He hits them at a higher rate and it's enough to spread the floor. When he hits them, it keeps the defense honest, and gives him more opportunities to drive. However, the problem really isn't him taking the 3 point shot. If he is wide open, he can try it maybe once or twice a game. Where we do have an issue is that he is camping out by the three point line in crucial late game situations. That isn't the shot we want at that time.

If Bosh wants to hit 3s, atleast stay in a corner, but most of the time its occupied by our designated shooters anyway

So yeah Bosh, stay around the paint

Its almost to easy to throw Bosh under the bus but for us who have been here for a while realize the problem is not Bosh. Remember how "we" the coaching staff wanted Beasley to play. Yup it all makes sense. What is comical is that we dont ask the same of UD or Wade. Its like everyone lets spread the floor to the 3pt line. Remember how Beasley wouldnt rebound well camped at the 3pt line.
