MIA is the least aggressive team in the playoffs. That's what happens when you only shoot jumpers and don't have guys who can take you off the dribble and attack...

Nope don't think that's it. Roy Hibbert had plenty of fouls at the rim that weren't called.

It's funny because clowns from other fanbases bitch and moan about how many calls we get. I really wonder what df they're watching. Durant does a puzzie ass rip through move and gets to the FT line more than LeBron & Wade COMBINED. James Harden takes like 4 steps with the Manu Ginobili head bobble move and gets to the FT line. Every time we had a chance to blow out the Pacers FOUL. Even last year in Boston for Games 3 & 4 and OKC in Game 1 the fouls were flat out pathetic...

David Stern increases the Difficulty Sliders in NBA 2k. Whoever plays vs Miami, gets ref help so that the series is closer and we don't blow them out every game. Ratings $$$$$$$

Right, somewhat fairly, you make me laugh.

It's been like this all year. Lebron and Wade's free throw attempts went way down this year without any explanation. Meanwhile James Harden and Kevin Durant got to the line with ease, despite shooting in the paint a lot less.

I hope it goes back to normal next year, because I think it's adding a lot of wear and tear to our stars because they can't get easy points like other stars like Kobe and Durant, despite going to the rim more.

IMO, starting with the big 3 era, the NBA put out word to not give these guys as many calls as they used to get. Otherwise it'd be 30 FTA between just the big 3. Now there is some noticeable decline over the years with changing play styles so it's not all the refs, but it was pretty evident to me in year 1. The guys wouldn't get the same calls as they did before. It had to be a conscious effort on the part of the league to keep them in check. We've seen it before with Shaq. His game never changed but all of a sudden he was getting called for offensive fouls early in games which really limited his effectiveness. We already know the league has meetings and tells the refs to focus on certain things and call some things a certain way or let other things go by (not saying it's to rig outcomes of games...), no doubt in my mind that they had a meetings before the Big 3 played and decided some of the calls the guys got as individuals weren't going to fly as a team to keep it from getting out of hand.

We need to stop fouling is all. We played very physical in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Those fouls were mostly earned. This series the refs are letting them play, and that favors us IMO. We need to be a little more physical on the interior to make up for lack of size. PEACE.

Personally I think LeBron didn't do himself any favors with the refs when he said prior to game 4 vs the Pacers that flopping wasn't a bad thing and that you need every edge you can get in the game. I feel that was when he stopped getting the calls.

Its eerie that the same exact thing happened to the Thunder (Durrant) and to the Rockets (Harden). Its like someone said they refs are tilting the scales....

The games are being called like how playoffs are normally called. Every foul call gets magnified by the media as the stakes are that much bigger, thats why refs are not making calls unless they are blatantly obvious.

So not making calls actually favors the Spurs more than the Heat. If u look at the last 3 games in SA, the heat are trying to take the ball to the rim far more than the Spurs. The spurs are more of a jump shooting team now than the heat.. The refs not making the calls actually favors spurs more than the heat.
The difference is Spurs are making the outside shots far more consistently than the heat and that to me is the difference so far.

It is pathetic to see LBJ and Wade passing off on open jump shots. Thats not gonna win against a spurs defence.
