OK, here is your chance to just give this man props(cause he DOES read these boards) - here is your one time to just simply say...I was wrong, he was/is hurt, I really appreciate his effort in game 4, and I will give him more benefit of the doubt in the future...or add your own......Otherwise, TURN IN YOUR FAN CARD

Hey mods, if you don't like the thread, do what you gotta do.....SO I'LL START

Hey Dwade, look man, ON BEHALF OF THE DOUBTERS, I apologize for the fans on THIS board getting a little anxious after seeing your STATS during the series...I really appreciate what you have done for this franchise and will never forget that you put us on the map...It's funny that some of the fans may have been a little young when you won the championship for us in 2006, BUT wanted to remember that SAME 2006 performance last night.

thanks man......no one in this series could have done it better..

Easy there stud, nothing great Wade does will erase all the putrid games he's played in this postseason so far (injury or not). With that said, it was refreshing seeing Wade playing like this, I almost forgot how good of a player this guy was. However, no need to act like we have won anything, it's 2-2 we still need to win 2 more games before we can start commenting on the who's and what's.

This thread is for those posters that bashed him, but now want to just SIMPLY get a simPle "thanks wade" THAT'S ALL - EITHER YOU'RE IN OR YOU'RE NOT..........simple - I don't care about nothing but his performance from last night, which without it, we DON'T WIN......

if you don't want to participate - DON'T

Wade has to play that way on a consistent level to ever be considered a super star again.

Last night he was guarded by Splitter/Diaw which is the the ultimate disrespect to an all-star wing.

I'm proud of D Wade but not fooled.

SAN ANTONIO – The rebound went to Chris Bosh, who passed to LeBron James, who then passed to Dwyane Wade, who was loping down the lane and dunking the last smidgeon of San Antonio hope, all of it, Thursday night.

“That dude, he was amazing,’’ LeBron said of Wade. “He was ’06 Flash tonight.”

It’s back on track now, too. It’s back, because LeBron was his usual self, not the lost player of the last couple of games. It’s back, because Bosh had his best game in weeks with a 20-point, 13-rebound effort while reclaiming the paint on defense.

It’s back because Wade reached way back this night to muster the player he once always was.

Seriously let's have some faith, you're the FIRST person on these Heat boards to bash Wade and refuse to ever give the dude credit. The next time the dude has a bad game, you'll be here once again to throw dirt on him.

Wade was guarded or went through almost every Spurs player at one point and destroyed them. This was a -vintage 06/09 game, it wasn't about who guarded him. He hit his jumpers, made great cuts, hit hooks and played outstanding d for basically the whole game.

Can he replicate this for the next 3 games? That remains to be seen but let's stop doubting Wade.

I find it sad that his own fanbase is ready to crucify the guy, trade him, call him washed up, what have you.

Every Heat fan out there who watched that game last night should have had a huge grin on their face from ear to ear. That was awesome to watch.

DWade can do things Lebron cannot, Lebron can do things DWade cannot...Bosh, the ultimate equalizer, perfect combination.

DWade had 5-6 steals, think about that(on bad knees), when was the last time this was done in a finals game?

Stop being emotional and hear me out... D Wade had a terrific game...but I'm not going to pretend he hasn't looked trash all post season long, I'm not going to pretend I don't see what he looks like against young athletic wings and I'm not going to pretend his primary defender wasn't Boris Diaw...

...If you go back in every series D Wade has actually had the weakest match ups of any of the 3 all-stars by far, its only now that SAS is getting really disrespectful with who defends him BUT like a 17 million dollar contract should he made them pay for it.

Last night should be the standard...not the exception.

Proud just not fooled my man.

The guy's been injured. Whether he should have always been out there or not you can take up with the coaching staff, but he clearly hasn't been 100%. Any Heat fan can see that.

100% Wade dunks over Danny Green like he dunked on Varejao or Perkins in the past (and to say he doesn't have those kinda hops anymore tells me you don't remember the first half of that 27 game winning streak). Instead he missed a transition layup in that situation tonight. That said, he looked better both athletically and mentally than he has all postseason, and I'm thrilled for it.

I'm not going to crucify the guy for making 17 million and being hurt this postseason, after all he's given this franchise though. No Heat fan who has been around for his whole career should be either. The guy put Miami on the map almost as much as Riley has, won us a championship, and brought LeBron and Bosh here for at least 1 more.

The only people who should still be critical of Wade are LeBron James fans who have nothing to gain from anything Wade's done in the past for this franchise, and are only looking at what he can do to improve LeBron's legacy.

Tim_Hardawayy - The fact that THOSE posters want to say "they are not fooled" should not have posted here, if they don't have a SIMPLE congrats, then so be it......

They'll be the same ones who want to celebrate our trophy, but silently complain about HOW we won it.....I am just curious as to how many LIVE GAMES they've attended(not that it matters)

But the best statement you've said is what I've always said...."if they've followed him HIS WHOLE CAREER" they'd appreciate what he did LAST NIGHT WITH 2 BAD KNEES IN A MUST WIN GAME

Here is the funniest part for me, after listening to both Pop and Eric at the presser, I also appreciate ERIC more...cause POP sounds/sounded like an entitled DCK, who got OUTCACHED

Wade could of score 0 points last night in a blowout loss, and still deserve our appreciation. He not only won us our first title almost single handedly but also the only reason we have a Big 3 era in front of us and watching our team get to the Finals 3 times in a row.

Don't be fooled by short memory span.

You know... if D Wade made about 8 to 10 million LESS, I'd throw half of my expectations of him out the window, make excuses, and use his knees as a crutch too.

Yes...he convinced LeBron to come here and play with him and Bosh (along with Riley) but not to drag his ass to to finish line for the past 2 years. D Wade sold LeBron a Mercedes but handed him the keys to a Buick...lol

Article by Woj
SAN ANTONIO – For all the praise heaped upon Dwyane Wade's most prosperous performances, the criticism comes sheepishly when he fails to play the part of Robin to LeBron James' Batman.

Let Wade play lousy, and it's his knee. Let him do his job – play superbly – and he's courageous, heroic, a champion defying the declarations of his decline. The storylines are wired. This way, Wade never loses. From James to Erik Spoelstra to Chris Bosh, the best gig on the Heat belongs to Wade.
