2-3-2 format is killing us again

I just don't know how the NBA doesn't fix this ****, it's no coincidence that the team with home court advantage in the finals is losing a majority of the time. You have to play 3 road games in a row and if all goes to plan then you face two elimination games at home. How the **** does it make any sense, they're such dumb asses.
That being said Danny Green and his terrible 3 point makes are the reason we're losing, not the schedule. Never the less it's a terrible format and I don't know why they have it.

I gave Green the credit for us losing, but this game should of been on our home floor tonight so that we had a chance to make them face elimination, not the other way around, it doesn't make sense. Yeah great reward for finishing on top, her you go cop a couple of elimination games.

Yup... Game 1 is looking like a really bad loss right now.
And it's not the format to me... we have been playing like ****. We got blown out twice, only this time we tried to come back MULTIPLE times. The defensive effort was not there man. Also missing easy shots, LEAVING GREEN WIDE OPEN, who does that?
They need to shut down Green and make the Spurs Big 3 do all the work.

Why you gonna blame the format?
The format is easy as hell for team with homecourt advantage.
Win your first 2, go on the road, win 1 and you got 2 home games.
You can also, split your first 2, win 2 on the road and go home and you have 2 home games.
You can even lose your first 2, win 2 on the road and go home with 2 home games.
How about execute and win.

we still have home court, if we are the better team we will win.

Obviously the last few people don't read the actual content in the first post, because they'd see no one blamed the format for us losing. I just find it stupid that if everyone wins their home games like they're meant to, the team with HCA faces two elimination games.

Playing like **** every other game is killing us. This team is so jekyll and hyde in these playoffs is it too much to ask for some **** consistency.

If a team loses 3 straight games when all you have to do is take one game then they deserve to face two elimination games. You gotta be choking pretty hard to lose 3 straight games after you win your first 2.
the 2-3-2 format assumes puts the pressure on the team without homecourt advantage to steal 3 games.
You gotta take the a game in the first 2 and you gotta take a game in the last 2 while winning 2 road games at home..
A team with homecourt advantage just has to win their first two games and a game on the road, they can literally lose 3 games and just go to a game 7 at home.
Or a team with homecourt advantage can split 2 games and win 2 games on the road and go home and have 2 more games at home.

If you give the team with homecourt the first two games and the last game at home the only other option is game 5. We would have lost this game anywhere on the planet so I don't mind.

As soon as we lost game 1, I knew it would either be a 6 or 7 game series. It should Nat have come to this, but this is where we are.

Don't lose home games. There is no reason to split the opening 2 games at home, and there sure as hell is no reason to lose 2 of 3 or 2 of 4 at home.
The format has nothing to do with our predicament.

Just a lame excuse really. We've got only ourselves to blame.
We played **** and our best player played ****. end of story.

It's not so much on the 2-3-2 format we just didn't do our job. I said before the series that winning Both games 1 & 2 at home was very important to avoid a situation like this. We **** the bed in Game 1 and now we have two games left at home. If we can't win Game 6 then that tells me a lot about this years Heat team...

What do you mean it should not have come to this, Spurs have always been an elite contender team in the west making deep runs every if not most seasons. Did you honestly think you would sweep the finals 4-0?
Also there is no problem with the format since like someone posted earlier if u guys get first 2 games and last game it only makes sense to give the away team 3 home games
