Game Six: NBA Final. Heat vs Spurs. 9PM, Tuesday June 18

Post#1 » by MiaFLSurf » Mon Jun 17, 2013 10:29 am

No pictures.
No emoticons.
No commentary.
No jokes.

No other choice.

It's time to realize the task at hand. Down 3-2, there is no tomorrow. Lose, and go home. Don't bother picking up your ECF T-Shirt. Your hat. Whatever lame piece of jewelry they give you.

This not what you wanted. What we wanted.

Come together. As a team. As a family. Fight. Scrap. Dive on the floor. Close out shooters. Make hard cuts. Grab every rebound. Drive hard. Take contact. Fight through it. Dont give up.

As a board. Think positive. Think negative. Wear your lucky shirt. Sit in your lucky chair. Kick your friend off that seat of the couch. Shake your voodoo doll. Do your lucky naked dance. Pull it all out.

The ship wants to sink.

But we cannot let it.

In case of emergency, we break the glass.

Losing is not an option.

There is really no other way of putting it. Must win game right here. The Heat are one loss away from elimination or one WIN away to keep their hopes of a repeat alive. Now or never. Do or die.

I love my team, but I can't watch them lose. And I will not watch Danny Green hoist the MVP trophy.

He would deserve to win it! he is outplaying the 4 times MVP, he has been a better player in this series than all our "big three", he has even 8 blocks in this series and 4 of them in Lebron James :o
I'm not even made, because we alre losing to a better team and we are losing to a team that is playing like a basketball team!

Win? Give yourself a fighting chance in a Game 7 at home again.

Lose? Don't even bother to show up to the press conference. Give the fans their money back. Don't give the players their checks. Simply disgraceful.

Put up and give it your all or shut the **** up.

Whoever does not show up for Game 6, from the players to the coaching staff, does not deserve to wear a Miami Heat uniform next season.

Why the fk hasn't Birdman been playing?

1.) I want Battier back in the starting lineup. Miller on Manu was a joke...
2.) If Birdman doesn't get any PT this game then our fans should throw bottles at Spo-Bot...
3.) If this team is not going to put a committed effort to putting a body on Danny Green and chasing him off beyond the 3 pt line then we don't deserve a Game 7 or a championship for that matter. Real talk...
4.) Chalmers & Cole have to show up. It's just that simple...
5.) I love the HEAT and I'm going down with the ship until the day I die but I don't have a good feeling about this game at all...

1) We really dug ourselves into a hole having Miller start. That forced them to start Manu, but now it puts us in an awful situation. We dont have any player that makes that matchup any easier.
2) What are we supposed to do? Our team clearly plays better with only 1 big. its not like Birdman can cover Duncan, he sucked vs Duncan. Maybe we can hide him on Splitter, but he isnt a difference maker.
3) This is the worst, most annoying thing about this series. Its been 6 **** games already, COVER THE GODDAM SHOOTERS ALREADY. id rather get beat by them having 16 two pointers than three pointers.
4) Show up? How about Spo realizes that a point guard for us is a LIABILITY this series. Every time we came back last night it was WITHOUT a PG on the floor. DONT PLAY WITH A PG.
5) Welcome to the club.

I expect a blowout

I think Shane should start too, Manu killed MM man, and MM is ineffective as a starter. It looked good because he was spacing the floor, but he hasn't even gotten 3 shots off... the Spurs are keeping an eye on him UNLIKE US WITH DANNY GREEN. This team looks straight up (Please Use More Appropriate Word) right now with leaving Green wide open. Yeah he had contested, miracle shots, but some shots were just given to him. Parker and Green don't even know how why he has been wide open still THIS LATE IN THE SERIES. We need to shut him down just like the Heat shutdown Novak last year.

We need an all-around DEFENSIVE effort. This team kept digging itself in holes after trying to catch up, it looked to be the most frustrating game. The refs also didn't want us coming back either lol.

I think everyone anticipated Manu finally breaking out despite the "he's done" stuff, same thing was being said of Wade.

Just PLAY SOME **** DEFENSE. Manu looked 10 years younger out there too. :noway:

1) We really dug ourselves into a hole having Miller start. That forced them to start Manu, but now it puts us in an awful situation. We dont have any player that makes that matchup any easier. -Agreed...
2) What are we supposed to do? Our team clearly plays better with only 1 big. its not like Birdman can cover Duncan, he sucked vs Duncan. Maybe we can hide him on Splitter, but he isnt a difference maker. - Your'e right he can't defend Timmy but he also protected the rim. Spo-Bot continued to play UD who couldn't stay on his feet if his life depended on it. I love me some UD but this is clearly not his series. A lot of those drives that Parker & Ginobili got last night was disgusting to watch. We need someone in there who is going to put the wood on those two if they drive and is willing to give up 6 fouls. Birdman is that dude for us...
3) This is the worst, most annoying thing about this series. Its been 6 **** games already, COVER THE GODDAM SHOOTERS ALREADY. id rather get beat by them having 16 two pointers than three pointers. - Agreed...
4) Show up? How about Spo realizes that a point guard for us is a LIABILITY this series. Every time we came back last night it was WITHOUT a PG on the floor. DONT PLAY WITH A PG. - It's rare for both of them to have a bad game but I do agree with you that most of our runs came without a PG on the floor but once again Spo-Bot is too blind to see it. What a disgusting coach man...
5) Welcome to the club. - Ugh, I hate you

Yeah... our PG's killed us last night defensively, mostly Cole. Just too small, need a big body on Parker.

Man this is not UD's series... he saved us last series but totally irrelevant this series. He doesn't even get any shots off, the Spurs don't allow those types of shots it seems unless its Wade/LBJ :|

It would also be cool if we got some phucking calls for once at home. Last game had a lot of home cooking for the Spurs. Now we need to get some calls our way also...

Hate to say it..

But I knew we were fkd when Tony Brothers was calling the game.

So "home cooking" depends on whose calling the game...

Mike Greenberg even said it...

LeBron James HAS to be the best player on the floor at all times.

We need him to be the best player in game 6.....hopefully in a game 7 as well...

Don't start Cole nor Chalmers. Either put in Battier or Allen.

Refs will have either Joey Crawford or Dan Crawford. At least.

I hope Dan.

I have a feeling if we win Game 6, we will game 7.

Game 6 is the dangerous game. Just like the Mavs series in 2011.

If we lose, we are losing in 6.

Hence why I had to break the glass on the 4-0 all time playoff game threads.

Every time we have been DOWN. Desperate times!

i saved this power up FOR THIS MOMENT.
