I know it's a little early to be talking about this but I'd like to see opinions from everyone of what they want to see our roster to work on to remain dominant next season.
Lebron James:
Free Throws
Jump Shot
Dwyane Wade:
Jump shot
Balance
Free Throws
Conditioning (this guy almost had a cardiac arrest at half time talking to Doris for god's sake, lose some weight or something and protect your knees)
Chris Bosh:
Post game (please see Hakeem)
Weight (10 more lbs please)
Mario Chalmers:
Dribbling
Finishing
Norris Cole:
Dribbling
Finishing
Jump shot
Everyone else has pretty much peaked and are what they are.

I personally would like to add the post for LBJ's off season HW. At sometimes, it seemed like he was lost down there and didn't know what to do if he couldn't back his way in. I would like to see him look cleaner down there, have more go-to moves.
And for Wade, what If he tries that German surgery Kobe got?

LeBron was barely in the post man.... he needs to work on that.
LeBron was the best jumpshooters this year, but he lost confidence in his shot for some unknown reason. He realized hey, I'm actually pretty good at jumpshooting when I looked at the stats. Then he went out there and did what he had to do. He was just thinking too much.
But he looked shaky in the post, way too much this year.
Our rivals next year are going to have a lot of post presence, LeBron has to be that guy too.

i seriously think lebron was hesitant in the post BECAUSE EVERYTIME HE PUTS HIS BODY ON A SMALLER MAN THEY COLLAPSE AND HE GETS CALLED FOR AN OFFENSIVE FOUL!!
it makes no sense
just look at the 4th quarter of game 6 when he got desperate. he went into the post and imposed his will in the paint. so much so he was trying to post up 3 guys towards the end of the game and kept turning it over

I want to see Lebron just continue to evolve in the post area,Wade without a doubt needs to hit up Attack Athletics in Chicago and work on that jumper with Tim Grover lol. After seeing him in that game 7 with his shot on point Wade's career can be extended so much longer if he has a consistent jumper.
Mario Chalmers I don't think he will change too much he is what he is a confident knucklehead, but Mr.Clutch as well.Norris Cole the future is bright for him really liked what I saw from him this year,I want to see him work on his jumpshot as well.

I want LeBron to rest this off-season. The dude has done so much these past few years and I feel his body really needs a break. I would like to see LeBron work on FT shooting and keep working on that jumper.
Wade needs to slim down a bit. I think his knee's will always be an issue and the less weight on those knees the better.
Cole work on the jumper, he will be needed down the stretch

Want to see Bosh bulk up a bit.
Want to see Wade get in MUCH better shape and develop a reliable jump shot.
Want to see Norris Cole add some strength.
That's pretty much it. Wade in particular is the guy that needs the most work. He needs to be a shooting threat when he's wide open, and he needs to be able to play 2 ways for 30 minutes without dry heaving.

Two things you guys won't see Bosh "improve"
1) gaining weight
He can't maintain that weight during the season + it causes injuries
2) Bosh is not a post player anymore, so what the hell is the point of seeing Hakeem?

Spo needs to incorporate Bosh more into the offense, can´t have him playing the role of Lewis out there.

Agree that bosh needs an expanded role in the offense to maximize his talents. If that means 3 less shots for LeBron so be it.
Also don't know wade's timetable as far as knee repair, but I think shedding 10 lbs and working on his midrange would do wonders for this team
All in all just want to see the guys rest up for a bit, they've earned it

LeBron has no weaknesses. Just needs to try to make all of the awesome things just a bit more awesome. Would be nice for him to get up to 80% from the line though.
Wade needs to bust his ass to add a 3-point shot if he wants to extend his career. As soon as his knee gets healthy, he needs to get in the gym and get up as many threes as possible and really dedicate himself to becoming a threat out there. With his declining athleticism, it's going to get harder and harder for him to threaten good defenses if they don't have to extend out on him. The fact that the Spurs were able to slow down LeBron by virtually ignoring Wade outside of 15 feet nearly cost the Heat a title.
Bosh is just Bosh. I'm not sure what he can do differently. To me, it's just about how the team chooses to use him. Do they start to feature him more in the post next year? I don't know, but they do need to find a way to get him more looks in the lane next year instead of having him just be a designated shooter.
Chalmers is Chalmers. We just have to live with the ups and downs. Norris Cole is the one with some potential upward mobility if he continues to work on his ball handling and shooting, both of which were a lot better this year. He really does need to keep getting better. He has the potential to be a real starting PG in the NBA, but he's not there yet.

Free throws are a must for the majority of this team.

Why should Bosh go to Hakeem? We don't want him in the post. Bosh didn't just lose the skillset he had in Toronto. He's shooting jumpshots because it's what we want him to do. He probably has the option of facing-up and driving, but we want him shooting from the outside to space the floor. Pop exploited Wade's lack of a jumpshot too easily. Bosh has to free the lane for our wings, because the two of them attacking will be far more productive than trying to force feed and run an offense through Bosh in the post. It's a simple numbers game IMO.
Wade needs to work on his 3pt shot ala Jason Kidd IMO. That's it. Everyone stay healthy and hopefully we can find someone in Summer League. PEACE.

Lebron- he needs some rest, but he definitely needs to improve his FTs and fine tune his post game.
D.Wade- He needs to develop that 3 point shot and a reliable mid range game. That way we can have good spacing even when he is on the court with Lebron. Also lose 7-13 pounds.
Bosh- Guys hes not adding anymore weight, its not gonna happen. But he needs to get his face-up game fine tunes. We rarely used that last year so he needs to build on that.
Rio- More consistent 3 pointer, better ball handling AND PLEASE BETTER DECISION MAKING ! Also needs work on the lob pass.
Cole- keep improving that jumper, needs to learn to pass the ball when you have lebron and/or wade on the break with him. And develop a reliable floater for gods sake, tired of seeing him getting packed 5 times a game

LeBron:
Free Throws
Post Game
Rest
Wade:
Drop some mass
Work on a set 3 point shot, if Tyreke Evans can do it, so can you. Just something to keep the D honest.
German knee treatment
Ball handling has been a bit sloppy as of late
I don't expect much from the rest of these guys. Cole's jumper should continue improving though.

Lebron needs to get some rest, It's time for this staff to sacrifice it's rigid style and should consider new/adjusted way to use BOSH.

All I ask for from Wade is to work his conditioning and get his knees right.
I think those are the source of all his problems (jumpers, ball-handling, etc.). He needs to lose a bit of weight and change his diet; IIRC he doesn't eat his vegetable and his diet mainly consist of meat. This may seem trivial to some but this is a big deal once you hit 30+. He needs to hang around Ray Allen and take some off-season advice. He needs to get back to Tim Grover to push himself into top shape.
I don't think Wade can ever hit the 3 consistently enough for us to use in an actual game setting (alas Bosh). Him ever getting a 3-point shot is a distance dream.
You notice that Wade was at his best when he finally get his health up to par during the 27 game streak and he was making jumpers like it was nothing. His slowly declining ball-handling and inconsistent FT shooting are directly correlated to his conditioning; when he is tired he gets more sloppier.
Wade, when healthy, was a top 3-5 player in the league; he can work on all the skills he wants but if he is not healthy it won't matter. This was clearly evident this season.

If there's one thing I'd really like to see, then it's Wade being back with Grover full time. Every season Wade was in great shape, he trained with Grover the year before. The guy knows how to handle this type of player more than anybody else. If it means flying out to Chicago, suck it up and go there Wade. If bringing him to Miami means paying him more, then that should be done. Either way, I've not seen any benefit of him working out at TERF, whereas Grover gets him into world class shape, no matter if he had to take time off in the offseason or not. Remember how Wade had knee problems in the 06 postseason as well and still came back as a better player in 06/07.
If anything, look at what Grover has done to Kobe.

Obviously he could get Grover to come over and he should, but it seems he thinks it´s better to workout with Lebron?

He got Grover to come over in last years finals, so he should realize how crucial it would be too have a full offseason with him.
